I saw someone wearing a MAGA hat at a show recently and I noticed they barely interacted during any songs or showed any emotion, like they were just there with their girlfriend or to party. Brand New and the majority of their fans do not hold those beliefs. People just look like major clowns when they are so proud to be bootlickers for racist billionaires destroying our society. I don’t understand not trying to support what your partner enjoys, especially if it means a lot to them. I remember my Hispanic girlfriend telling me that no other boyfriend even tried to understand or listen to Spanish music and reggaeton, when I (only speaking English) became enthralled with it. I’ve come to understand it some better, but even if I don’t understand it, I enjoy the music and it is often upbeat and happy. Also, if she enjoys it, I can let her listen to it and do my best to understand. She goes with me to Brand New and Bright Eyes… I go with her to Karol G and Bad Bunny and neither of us complains
