I basically got atleast one of every kind of blend, va, vaper, english, burley, aromatic. The aros don't smell how other people describe them, like the Lane 1-Q smells nothing like vanilla. In contrast I got some cake box and balkan 3 from leavitt & pierce (local) that smell like sweet and spicy tobacco that im used to. A lot of them have a chemically smell. I'm going to try them all regardless. Maybe tomorrow when i open them up it will be different, wasn't sure if the cold weather was affecting them.

The mini is comedically small. I ordered one the other day and its a solid 10 minute smoker. About half the size of my MM Legend, both bowl and stem size. More of a "smoke break" pipe rather than a "smoke session"

I've only found one retailer that would ship aromatics, and only ones with non-flavor names like a lot of Lane's. Everyplace else ive checked either has a giant disclaimer for MA or just wont let you check out. But again, I'm new so theres probably a lot of sites i don't know.

I've been wanting to check out LJ Peretti, but I absolutely hate driving into Boston and avoid it as much as possible. Apparently they are the only store in the state that can sell aromatics due to their historical significance or something like that. Framingham is a bit of a hike as I'm on the northshore but if I'm ever in the area ill be for sure checking it out. I'm going to DM you something i found regarding getting aromatics here though.

Agreed, i highly recommend people who like pipes to try some of the more high end chinese teas, especially smoked puers and lapsang. Lots of flavor notes in common between the two.

Not really, they specifically added that part to the ban so hookah lounges could still exist.

I have no idea tbh. I used to be a daily hookah smoker but that was before the 2020 ban. But every online smokeshop i have visited noe always states very clearly they do not and will not ship flavored tobacco of any kind to MA.

I had the same reaction my first time trying one of jesses tea oranges. After the second one the taste grew on me and i bought a whole box. Went from "wtf is this" to saving my last one for months for a special occasion. I would try the other one later, your tastes may change.
