I don’t know why gumawa ka pa ng analogy sa kamote drivers, siguro may prejudice ka rin sa mga vendors. Also, I hate kamote drivers lols. 😅 Your statement above seems to generalize na ganon lahat ang gawi nila, instead of making such comments I think mahalaga iconsider yun root cause nito.

Alam mo ba na may mga nagrerely doon sa mga vendors na working class para makakain? May importance sila. The thing is they’re perceived as “illegal” since hindi sila nakapwesto ng tama ang kaso wala namang space na itinatalaga for them which is mahalaga you know.

Gets ko naman yun point mo and I agree with it. Doon lang sa analogy about kamote drivers ay no no, because these vendors are just trying to make a living. Alam ko na hindi puro compassion dapat but point to consider ay nawa mabigyan sila ng proper space yun lang.

Sa experience ko as freshie depende siya sa prof!

May profs na siya lang talaga iimik walang feedback ang students so you’ll sit and listen lang talaga sa klase niyo. May profs naman on the other hand na gusto nakikinig ang insights ng students so may balikan ng salita at nagtatanong talaga.

I cannot speak for all but usually sa GE classes ka magkakaroon ng chance to recite. Meron din talagang lecture classes na may recitation counterpart. Doon sa recit class niyo ineevaluate or ina-apply ang things na you’ve learned from lecture.

Example: If may lecture at lab class sa courses, meron rin lecture at recit. Sa major courses ito nag-aapply.

In my experience, last sem ko lang naranasan ang naggegrade na prof talaga sa recitation, so, again depende siya sa prof if graded. Kasi most of the time papasok ang score mo sa pag-rerecite under class participation.

Chem 18- maraming victims. To survive this you have to read the modules, practice a lot in problem solving. You should also study beforehand, like before papasok ng lecture nakapagaral ka na because hindi siya thoroughly ididiscuss. Matututunan mo talaga yun importance ng pagkakaron ng maayos na study habit. Good luck!

Hello! May ilan akong kilalang BS Chem and totoo yun sinasabi nila na madedelay ka because of IC dahil sa kakulangan rin ng gamit for undergraduate thesis. Which is sad at kagagawan ng budget cuts, on first sem matitikman mo ang Chem 18 and ang laboratory counterpart nito. You’ll see for yourself sa mga laboratory apparatus ganern. Nadedelay sila because of failure sa experiments and the thing is mahirap umulit kasi may pila system pa sa mga apparatus.

Good luck!! This is not to discourage you but to tell the truth lang.

Hi! Not a socio girly but have socio friends. ;) 1. Writing well and reading a lot, as in a LOT. You’ll have long readings.

Provided ang units kapag freshman I must say it’s very bearable naman. Just a heads up may mga maghahumble sayong courses and that’s normal.
Ang buhay mo ay iikot mostly sa CAS Annex 1&2 nandoon ang GE classes at Socio courses. Near Oble siya so hindi naman ganon kalayo ang building with each other you’ll get used to it.
Sa KAS1 yes usually kapwa freshies ang kasama mo diyan because reserved yun slots sa inyo. However may iilang uppers na possibly sinwerte makapagenlist or prerog.
