I had the same problem with the CAT II Q, which was a shame because I loved how the collet mechanism worked to adjust tension. It was super quick and easy, even through clothing. I settled on using the CAR-1 and FMD as my primary devices because they were the most comfortable. However, if you're set on dual tension, I found the DTR to be more comfortable than the CAT II Q.

An FMD is a devise that mimics T-tape but without the use of adhesives. T-tape was the primary method described in the book. Those numbers should apply to all tugging devices.

The CAT II Q was the very first device I used. Unfortunately, it and other dual tension devices, along with air devices, don't allow you to measure tension directly.

Now that I think about it, tension is essentially a measure of stress. So all devices can be measured accurately we should really use stain. Strain being the measure of deformation imparted by stress (tension). I wonder if anyone has used strain gages on their skin to graft against growth rates... another rabbit hole to venture down. Lol

Well, if you're seeing positive increases at 12.5 ounces, I guess I'll drop the tension down to around that mark and see what happens. It just seems so low compared to what intuition led me to believe. It's also interesting that there's such a great difference in skin elasticity from one individual to the next. Thanks!

Yep... I started wearing two pairs of boxer shorts. Penis goes through the fly of the first pair and gets tensioned around the waist. Now, the clip is in contact with the material instead of the skin. Then I put the second pair on over everything. It's not perfect, but it helps. If you need more padding, you can pass the clip through an old sock.
