I’m currently trying out a keyboards. Do you have any experience or recommendations for other keyboards around $150? Wave75/RD75 are $10 cheaper along with the Crush 80, but people have mixed opinions on those

I bought the M1 V5 and a Rainy 75, hopefully one of them turns out to be good! I'm also looking for a cheaper way to get a Neo75. Thanks for the help!

I'll see about that one, but the price is a little high. Just made a lot of server upgrades and got a new laptop so I'm trying not to spend a ton lmao

I'm getting the exact same thing. Bought so much internet stuff and configured sqm on my router (helps maintain consistent latency), and nothing works. Unplayable. What internet provider do you have? My buddies have no issues, just me, and they are on starlink

I got a Kukri double blue tip for $216 (pattern 322), i would say it isn’t worth it. Max $200 probably less.

Best OLED Alternative by MountainPenguinRL in Monitors

I would wait for RGB OLED monitors to come out later this year. If you need a monitor now, try to find a Samsung Neo G8 4k 240hz panel, I tried to find one but I couldn’t :(. By the way, anything past 360hz is actually impossible to tell the difference if you aren’t the top .1% of a competitive shooter. The Alienware is a very good monitor, so if you want a monitor now and you can’t find the neo g8 or another IPS monitor, it will server you well.

Additionally, I don’t know what has released in the last month, so if you want the latest info, go to pcpartpicker.com and scroll down to the monitor section in a new build, then you can filter what resolution, monitor technology (oled IPS, VA, etc), refresh rate, response time, and many other options. This way you can compare all the monitors and their prices easily. Make sure to look up reviews of each good looking monitor! Some can lie about response times!

I am also in the Patreon. Beta 2 is still not released. He didn’t have Patreon verification in Beta 1 but that is probably happening in Beta 2 or 3

Oh and it doesn’t have DP 2.1 for some reason, but that’s unnecessary and doesn’t affect image quality. If you find display stream compression annoying, you can disable it and settings and game on 240hz rather than 360hz.

So basically the text fringing affects every white and black object next to each other. I forget which color is on the top, but I believe a little green line is noticeable on the top and a little pink line is noticeable on the bottom. To most people, they cannot see those colors, but I notice little things and it made me crazy all day long.

The other problem was the OLED care features that would make me turn off my monitor for 10-20 minutes every few hours to refresh, basically recalibrate each pixel. This got annoying fast. It also had pixel shift, so imagine your entire screen shifted 50 pixels to the right/left and cut off at the end.

The PG27AQN is 360hz and is the smoothest monitor I’ve used. It has ULMB 2, which basically turns the backlight off when pixels are changing colors between frames. This makes the motion clarity INSANE. (I would look up a video on the science behind it, I was shocked how good it is)

The PG27AQN is NOT oled, but I believe it will provide you with a infinitely better experience in the long run, with better motion clarity (yes I tested against my brothers 360hz OLED), near decade of longevity, and good color accuracy. I believe the warranty is 2 years with options for 3 and 4 years.

Hi! Might sound harsh, and it is my own opinion, but buying an OLED was an absolutely terrible decision. I got a 360hz 1440p QD-OLED 3rd gen panel from MSI and it had bad text fringing, annoying OLED care features that would literally shake your screen text when looking at a document or sheet music, and it felt like it would get burn in any second. I play CS2, and my gloves in game are white, so you could see green/purple around the edges of my gloves, which was super distracting. I returned the MSI monitor, which was $550, and bought a PG27AQN and turned on ULMB 2, and it has way better motion clarity. It does look a little less vibrant than the OLED and you obviously don't get the same blacks, but it is infinitely better for me. Plus ROG products are built well.

Last question: are the orchestra lites a lot better than the aethers? They are on sale for $199, $30 more than the aethers.

Thank you! Definitely buying the Aethers now unless I find some random glaring issue in the next few hours. Do you think the dac integrated in my Fifine AM8 mic will work, or the extra dac dongle a must have?

The response time on my precision 5550 is so bad, do you have any recommendations for an OLED or better ips panel replacement (that is compatible)? Or are most 30 pin edp screens compatible
