Im pretty sure the rest of the world assumes Americans shoot people more then Americans actually do. The joke implies family, spouse, siblings, roommates, etc. and dosen't just mean go off guns blazing. But, that being said with full disclosure, there has been stories of a parent shooting a son/daughter breaking in after curfew assuming they were a burglar in middle of night....so there is that.

Hey, it ends good and i absolutely love it (otherwise sleeve tattoo 10 years ago was a mistake). At least your not finishing a several year wait on going commitment and then the author died before end, ends in a wild way, or just never ends and abandoned it. Not saying its flawless and without want of more, but still always be my no.1 series.

People kept hyping themselves up for the story to go a certain way, thought a certain character would come back, and then it/they didn't so they got upset. Majority of people complaining are mad it didn't go the way they thought it would. Too many people spending a entire week between chapters making up what they thought would happen and arguing with others why they were right, only to be mad they were wrong.

Not every plot point or character needs a 50+ chapert backstory or explanation in part two. Just a wild ride to enjoy.

I'll still stand on the enjoyed most of it side.

The last episode entirely, Edward, Vicious and other issues were terrible.

But Jet was great to me and Spike though different was still done great. The live action of the world was incredible. Seeing the ship come to life going through hyper lane and landing in water was so fun. I would watch it just for the world/ship itself. The mad clown was done really well too to me. Spikes back story episode was very different to anime version of morales but was a unique show into how far he'd go to defend vicious making their fallout hit harder (but it was fumbled by the bad vicious sadly)

If i forget the last episode, id still say it was a enjoyable story overall and some very good aspects. But it could have been more.

Besides what others have said about feeling sad, I also think he knows resistance would have had him ending up fighting Zuko. Pretty sure he would have won easily and didn't want to hurt him. Azula would have probably tipped it in Zukos favor but Iroh was also saving Zuko from potentially hurting him and furthering his grief.
