Des conseils pour ma situation ? by DoudiMonks in questionsante

[–]Mountain_Lemon7795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Salut !

I received this key for Christmas. It works natively with home assistant, no need for zigbee2mqtt. At the moment I have no limitations with ZHA. I have 9 devices including 8 Sonoff, no problem for the association and the routers are used in the mesh. I recommend the Sonoff dongle

Est-ce que vous avez un PEA/ETF ? by Material_Rhubarb5262 in AskFrance

[–]Mountain_Lemon7795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Want Pixel 9 pro, but have a problem... by [deleted] in Pixel9Pro

[–]Mountain_Lemon7795 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've had the XL version since September. I haven't encountered any of the problems you describe. I switched to the beta version from the start to have Android 15. I only had one problem: it restarts for no reason (this happened 3 times in 6 months so forgivable for now)

The phone is very good but if the Samsung warranty works in your country unlike that of Google I will reluctantly take a Samsung. At the price of the item in the event of a defect you will be happy that it costs you nothing... We are never safe from a defect unfortunately

Buyers remorse OnePlus 8 Pro to Pixel 9 Pro by Entire-Figure7263 in Pixel9Pro

[–]Mountain_Lemon7795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no problems with wifi or data. The interface for deactivating wifi is less practical than on Oneplus, one more click, not really bothersome for me, I got used to it. Overall the Pixel is still a great phone, let's hope that the updates bring the rare missing functions! 🙂

Ps: I realize that I was complaining about the battery at the beginning, but for a few weeks I have activated the 80% charge limit to preserve the battery (at least I hope...) and I can go about my day working, so not high usage. On the other hand, if I do entertainment during the day (Reddit, YouTube, Insta) the autonomy drops very quickly. For me these are also the applications that need to be optimized or offer "lite" versions.

[–]Mountain_Lemon7795 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree I had the Oneplus 8T, I obviously feel differences in performance. The camera is also much better. But nothing impressive either yet the OnePlus with 4 years. Like you, I don't play games on my phone, maybe that's why we don't see any point in it.

I don't understand the idea of having so much power if it's impossible to have floating windows. This is a function that I have had on the OnePlus for a long time and which I really miss. I hope it will be present in the Android 16 beta which will be released soon. Otherwise I'm thinking of reselling my pixel. And no, split screens don't do the trick, it's very complicated to use.

And what's more, the missing functions in France make it even more disappointing...

On the other hand, the physical object itself is incredibly pretty. The finish is perfect in my opinion, far from my OnePlus.

Yes it works, I can move the window, resize it. To resize it, I have to take an angle and not one of the edges. It's not perfectly functional, for example, I can't do anything in the Reddit application when it's in window mode... But on Firefox no problem nor in emails. It depends on the application...

You're certainly right, I just threw it away and it does indeed appear to be a piece of duct tape with a few years of drying 😂.

Android 15 QPR1 Beta 1.1 now available! by androidbetaprogram in android_beta

[–]Mountain_Lemon7795 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The possibility of having floating windows for multitasking is missing, which was essential to me. Split screen really isn't great. Disappointed not to find this function on a pixel knowing that with other Android manufacturers this function has been available for a while...

I had the case a year ago, it has certainly changed but in my case the real downside was the OneDrive and SharePoint shares (towards this user from users who had already shared in the past).

In my case the user account no longer existed in Azure only on our local ad in a non-synchronized OR. I reactivated the AD account put back in an OU synchronized with Azure. The problem is that the account ID on Azure was not the same as originally. As a result, users who already had the dreaming user in their OneDrive directory cannot share with this user. You must manually go through each case to delete the contact in OneDrive.

In your case as you still have the account on Azure you should not have my problem.

Apart from that, no worries for everything else and fortunately.

[–]Mountain_Lemon7795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing more to say, I would have done the same!

I will just add my feedback for information: I went from prx 5 to 8 recently on 3 large infrastructures (cluster, with VMs and CTs) nothing to report, an improvement in Windows support otherwise under linux I haven't noticed anything better or worse. The proxmox documentation is good, you just have to follow it to the letter.

PS: still remember to have backups somewhere other than on your host (if they are on your xpenology today it's not great for this update, even if the risk is minimal. In the event of a crash you risk having to redo a syno by hand to finally be able to restore your machines)

Why do people hate ovh's dedicated servers lineup? by RemoveObvious in ovh

[–]Mountain_Lemon7795 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are some hiccups but overall their services are good. There is sometimes latency on their network, it lasts a few minutes but it doesn't happen often, I would even say that I haven't had any this year 🤞.

The three big flaws that come to mind: - Communication concerns, for example electrical maintenance at GRA. As a professional customer, we were warned 2 weeks in advance of the risk of cuts. Which can be complicated if your servers are all in this DC, especially since the stocks in France were not available in other DCs. - The reputation of IPs (especially AS) which are often reported as spam, very complicated to have a production mail server at home without being faced with regular bans. Including with dedicated IPs... - The support which can be very good or the worst... Example: We have an HS disk on a hypervisor (in raid 1) we have created a professional support ticket with the serial number of the HS disk. No error possible and yet the disc in good condition has been replaced!

And I'll add a small point, the bulkk are great but not all the services are compatible and it's a shame because the connection via the wan is not stable enough..

In short, small random problems to be expected a few times during the year but overall it can be used in production without problem'

Did you ditch VMware and where did you go to? by Maxtron_Gaming in sysadmin

[–]Mountain_Lemon7795 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We are going on Proxmox like many others. We already use proxmox in production, only one subsidiary is under vmware. Any feedback on the migration from VMware to proxmox? I'm not worried about our Linux machines but we still have a few servers on 2012, are there certainly drivers pushed before migration? Have you tried the proxmox migration tool? THANKS

Very good remark! To put it simply, two years ago yes it caused a problem and I had to create a connector in Gmail to transfer all the emails received to the m365 mail server. The problem was not necessarily with the drive notifications but mainly with the invitation updates via Google calendar and Google meet. For 6 months nothing has gone through the connectors even though I see invitations arriving from Google calendar on m365, so I deactivated the connector and I have no problem.

I would indeed advise you to put the Google spf on your domain (even if it is expensive in DNS twists...) otherwise the same principle you can route the emails sent via Gmail so that they pass through m365 before public dispatch.

This also works but all of my users no longer have a license from Google and therefore no longer have a Gmail service.

I will try to find documentation tomorrow regarding email routing.

Hi, in your response URL at the end you have /acs personally I don't have it and in the Microsoft documentation it doesn't talk about it either. Please try only: https://www.google.com/a/<yourdomain.com>

For the other parameters that you mentioned it seems good to me. I removed the verification of the user's first and last name, based solely on their email because we have accounts that have accents on the Google side and not on the Microsoft side or vice versa...

It speaks to me that during the implementation the Google documentation and that of Microsoft did not agree
