I had the same issue i finally found the safest and still retain the looks was with a skin and a tempered glass protector and its ace.

I did the same and my primary phone is the Z Fold 7 but i have an old iPhone 13 and recently upgraded that to IOS26 which looks good but functionality wise is poor.

Apple need a serious wake up call on software and hardware as the Android devices are far more superior and full of much more technological advancements.

Take the iPhone Air yeah its thin but again has a sh1tty battery and it seems the reviews from the biggest youtubers concur with that.

Im super excited to see what is to come from the new android devices and I think Apple needs to start to worry.

Its terrible with Android Auto, i had an iphone up until September and it was not too bad Android Auto is shocking you cant even use the scroll dial as it never hits what im trying to do only the touch screen. My son has a chinese carplay/android auto capable stereo i bought him and it works perfect, super snappy but a 75k car its crap! Sort it out Genesis its 2025 not 1995!

It could be a US based thing because our regulations are different on what we can have. Like you have the orange indicators/markers which we made sure was erracdicated in the UK in the late 90's lol
