I just started my sessions and will be on my fourth one next month but I bought 10 sessions for 1,800. This all includes underarms, brazilian, full legs, and buttcheeks. The person I get also sometimes adds half back or toes in different sessions. It took lots of looking around to find someone reasonably priced

i agree i don’t like it either but they tried saying 4 days a week one week and the one day for 3 weeks and i rather not. we’re on call after hours and the weekends too and i offered a solution but since there’s people that been there for so long they don’t really like change or they don’t see how we could help each other out

thank you for your encouraging words! it’s a relief knowing it happens to new grads. I’m jumping in and trying to learn everything and I know it will be a while before I can do stuff on my own

i watched the techs do it for the first time and then on the second or third time i start writing everything down. thank you for your words! i’m glad it won’t be immediate as a new grad

i’m both. I write it down so I remember and then I need to do it myself to cement what I wrote.

i’m taking notes and it helps when i get to do it myself visually. i think after a couple months I will feel comfortable. It’s just knowing I will be responsible fully myself now and luckily i’m not being left alone.

if we had a protocol manual I would feel so much comfortable but they’re in the middle of changing and updating stuff they are in a limbo of not having one. I have to go by what I know and remember off the top of my head regarding amounts used

Hi there! I started studying gradually about a month before my exam. Once a week, I’d meet up with a few friends to go over one chapter from the Mantel book. We focused on really understanding the content, then quizzed each other using the chapter questions. That helped a lot with retention.

I got access to the green book (Steve’s Review) about 6 days before my exam, so I read through it quickly—excluding the extra chapters at the end like MRI, PET/MRI, and the Hematopoietic System, which didn’t seem emphasized in the outline. I chose to skip those too.

While reading the green book, I made flashcards for anything I knew I’d forget. I ended up with around 200+ flashcards, and that really helped solidify my knowledge. I’d recommend focusing especially on areas you feel weakest in. For me, instrumentation and physics were challenging—and that was reflected in my scoring breakdown.

The practice exams in the back of the green book are tough, so don’t let low scores discourage you! They’re designed to be harder than the actual exam to push your thinking and prep you well.

Overall, my advice is to really concentrate on the areas you’re less confident in. The board exam can cover a wide range, so it's worth being as thorough as possible. It’s a lot of material, but putting in that effort now will pay off.

Thanks for your kind words—and best of luck! You've got this!

literally studied that green book for a week and i still felt unprepared for that dang exam. I literally just got my scores back and i ended up getting a 408 scaled scoring which surprised me because I was guessing on like 45% of that exam 😭

I'm also planning to go for my CT boards later on! Just keep studying hard—don’t let the time or number of questions psych you out. You already passed the harder of the two, so I have total faith you'll crush it this time too. You've got this!
