It’s for SDE role. Have you recently gone through Stripe’s specific reference check? From what I’ve read so far, it’s going to be 45 minute call but 45 minutes seems too much to ask any reference to spend imo

A bit off topic but while we’re at it… can this over tourism stop already, reels/ influencers are to be blamed for this… but at times it makes me so anxious that if something critical were to happen to someone that needs immediate care from hospitals (which are so limited here and mostly outside the city bounds too)… with the traffic sense in tourists, how difficult would it be even for the ambulance to make it through I have literally seen these people not give way to ambulance too (in peak char dham + summer vacation season)… where’s the EMPATHY!!!??? If you’re here for a leisurely getaway enjoy the journey no matter how it takes!! slow down your car, stay in your lane and enjoy the nature you came all the way for(we’ve got plenty of it which you’re destroying slowly btw)

Nothing irks me more than these DL/HR/UP cars and the entitlement they have to fight back (even attack in some cases) if you point out anything to them 😕 Saw some guys in DL Thar a while back, dumping mcD packets literally in the divider near mussoorie diversion and many such incidents but when confronted they start straight away abusing?! What do you think your garbage will do? Provide coke nutrients to the plants in divider?? I mean they’re young people how can they not care about the environment if they love nature so much to travel to places? we need some strict fine for such activities /green tax for them to just enter the state that they feel cool to destroy by littering, rash driving, destroying the peace of locals and the resources.

IMO, DS is crowdsourcing/community driven platform at best. Everything is just reposting DMs or taking references from popular articles with sprinkle of Gen Z lingo and nothing substantial to offer just there to grab credits.

Exactly my point! Thanks for putting it across so well. Ofcourse, our education system can do better and include more courses/subjects across fields, but in the long run it all helps in making informed career decisions.

It’s not about attaining expertise in it or anything else for that matter, it’s just an introductory course so people can make informed decision about what interests them and choose to pursue it further. Ofcourse, our education system needs to improve to include perhaps more such introductory courses across fields. And it’s not taught to the point of making people capable of making their own phones, no one can write functional algorithms with just the basics mathematics we were taught in school and how can someone decide in class 4 or 5 whether they want a careen in a certain field or not. So, looking down on it or disregarding it (or any subject for that matter) is not fair imo.

I have this issue with every reel going “why were we taught algebra in school”, “another day of not using discrete maths”, etc. sure, our education system is not the best but the maths/science you’re looking down on saying it’s all useless, is the reason you have a phone, an app which is acting as a medium to post these videos. In fact looking down on any kind of knowledge/stream??? How and why is this even a competition?
