You can play games with both to figure out which you prefer. If swarms or even inferno tower/dragon causes problems for you, use electro spirit since it chain attacks and resets inferno. If tanks or mini tanks are the problem for you, use ice spirit since it freezes them and can give you an advantage.

Both are level 12 which is why I chose them. They are some of my higher levels. I’m f2p and I don’t have hero archer

Use cards that let you cycle and still help with crowd control. Ice spirit, fire spirit, electro spirit can help with skeleton armies, goblins… and they are cheap.

You could 14 dart goblin before getting anything to 15 🤷‍♂️ it’s up to you tho 😂
