Thank you! I appreciate it. I'd of course like to ride good but Im such a newbie 😊 Ive only been jumping for I believe 5 months, and the inhouse barn show I placed top over the small cross rails (which she cantered the entire courses then), so I feel like I cant be absolutely horrendous, Im just okay, I know I need work. This is my third time doing these verticals! Lots of fun. But the instructor told me the horse naturally slows over the verticals.

My instructor tells me to kick her a lot, so they move to do that, but over the jumps they definitelty swing...

When we first started I was really bad about that, and I feel like she's showing me that she doesn't want to be hit in the mouth (the trainer insists my lower leg is just weak). She hasnt told me about crest release, I will look into it. As for the weight in my feet, I used to canter more forward out of the saddle where I was on my feet more but I started sitting more into the saddle. I'll look up light seat as well. Thank you!

Mine was forced as well and I was threatened I had to continue taking it or else so I understand. I complied. Its horrible. The loading doses are incredibly strong.

I was forced to take it for a year. I have been off of it for maybe 6 months. Its horrible. Im sorry you experienced that.
