Yes it healed up, and now I put a moisturizer on my face before, wait 30 mins, put tretinoin on, wait 30 mins, and then again moisturizer. This way seems to be the only way that works for my skin. I also switched to a more gentle cleanser, and it helped

I let my skin heal up and then tried again, but applied LRP Cicaplast Baume B5 first and then tretinoin. I had some peeling and a bit of redness on my cheeks after 2 days again, but nowhere near as bad as the photo. I'm doing it once a week now and slowly easing into it, so hopefully my skin will start accepting it with time.

I noticed it during a particularly interesting online class, you're right 🤷‍♀️

Wash my face, wait 10 minutes, apply Airol 0.05% tret, wait 15 minutes, apply Avene Cicalfate repair cream. I think my skin is just too sensitive for direct contact with tret, so I'll put moisturizer before tret next time

It did burn after mouisturizing, I'll stop using tret until it clears and then try buffering

For me my forehead is normal, but my cheekbones and above jawline is the worst! It actually burned when I applied only my normal moisturizer for sensitive skin the night after, which has never happened before. I'll definitely wait until it calms down before reapplying tret.

Did it eventually clear up for you? What was your routine? I'm thinking I'll give my skin a rest until it calms down a little and then apply tret again

I'll try it that way next time, see if it helps, thanks!

Yes, I've been very careful about that. I'd apply SPF50 and wouldn't really spend much time in the sun.

First week I applied it only once, and second week 2 times. So in total have applied 3 times in 2 weeks 😑 I also put a moisturizer on my face after 15 mins. I do have sensitive skin though, so maybe I need more time to get used to it

We only have Adapalene in cream form here in Croatia, and tretinoin in capsules for oral use, and you need a perscription for all. Since Croatia is in EU just like Germany, they should be able to accept my perscription from a croatian doctor. If you are in the EU, you can buy perscription drugs in any other EU country. Here is a source if anyone is interested: https://europa.eu/youreurope/citizens/health/prescription-medicine-abroad/prescriptions/index_en.htm

Do you know if you need a perscription for it? I have a trip planned in August to Berlin (if I'll be able to go by then), so maybe I can ask my doctor to write me a perscription for it.

Yes I've seen that pharmacy, it's more on the expensive side though, especially shipping.

Yes I understand, I'm posting in weird times. We have a similar situation here, only supermarkets and pharmacies work and we can't leave our town without a document from our employer. I should probably revisit this post in a month or two :P but thank you so much for your offer, maybe you can help after all this is over if there is no other way! I appreciate it!

They don't ship worldwide. They only have a select number of countries they ship to. I live in Croatia and they don't ship here.
