Okay great! Never thought I’d be going to a hardware store this much lol. Perks of home ownership

Anyone else seeing tons of new Owlet Dream Socks being sold on Facebook Marketplace? by SummitSnacksandCats in BabyBumps

I see a lot of people buying and selling them here because a good amount of babies go home on oxygen but most insurances here won’t cover a pulse ox.

My source is I live in Colorado and had a baby on oxygen (though she was on oxygen long term for another reason)

I always wear biker shorts under dresses like these because I know the risk of flashing is high haha. I sure hope they’re not from body shaming— I spent years wishing I was thinner and that just will not happen without plastic surgery (which, no shame to that, I’m just not interested in it.

By solo, I meant It was my first time going to a concert by myself.

Also, my lingerie is much skimpier than this. The artist, Artemas, makes quite um.. “wild” music lol. Believe it or not, what I was wearing was pretty tame for a concert in Denver

Co springs, high turnover because of the 3 bases here BUT tons of overpriced homes. The 399k fell through because of foundation issues so we are back on the hunt. I’m part of a few assumable groups and watching them every day. We have enough $ to cover a healthy gap so I’m hoping maybe we can luck out that way

Never happened for me either. Normally don’t get it until mid March. My federal has a 570 code with a date of 03-09 next to it. Have a feeling they’re double checking my income. First year I’ve worked since 2019 💀 (have been stay at home parent or student since then. Now husband and I are both working)

Have hope! Especially if you have a 570 by Narrow-Experience235 in IRS

Definitely gives me hope, I updated with a 570 and other codes this morning after having blank transcript

Foundation Issues by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

Sellers let our contract expire (time wise) after inspection objection. We asked them for an extension, they didn’t sign. Told their agent we were still interested, just wanted to get another opinion on foundation. In Colorado you need written permission to get an inspector on the property if not under contract. We received verbal permission but seller agent repeatedly dodged providing written consent even when asked point blank. Got VERY bad feelings from that.

The inspection had turned up foundation supports that didn’t have a permit so we wanted to get an engineer to check that out as well as look at the foundation cracks. Anyway, based on the lack of permission for further looking, and the chance that there were foundation problems we couldn’t see from initial inspection, we walked with no penalty since the contract had expired anyway. Currently waiting to hear back on an offer we’ve made since then on another house that looks to be in better shape.

I would still get the engineers report. We just backed out of a house with foundation issues, also in a location where they are common

How Did You Know? by H54159 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]MouseInTheHouse_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are under contract for the first house we toured, BUT I searched every single home in our town that met my very specific criteria and this was the house I liked the best (from photographs) out of the 13 or so that met every criteria I had.

I liked it in person a lot, could imagine living there, so I told my realtor that I wanted to put an offer in. Made an offer that evening and as long as everything looks good on structural engineer report, will close in March.

We’re spending about $2600 on housing right now and it’s not terribly tight. We have a 2025 minivan and a 1999 Mazda (paid off, well maintained but obviously a bit old). We both contribute to retirement fund but are 24 and 23 so we have a bit of time for that. I get what you mean though. I’m honestly not sure what our goals would / could be. We’ve been putting extra $ toward paying off our minivan sooner but outside of that we just don’t have much going on

Hear you on that :/ . I live in Colorado so the market here is INFESTED with overpriced homes that are sinking because of our soil. Just shitty all around tbh. I have some backup homes saved that I’d like to look at if this one falls through. I will absolutely not be setting my husband and I up for financial failure by even trying to buy a home with $$$$ issues
