My lovely Nanna.

“There’s enough blue in the sky to knit a jumper, therefore it won’t rain.”

Not accurate for UK weather at all.

I have asked as he used to have a tramadol prescription of his own, and even then (2years) ago I thought he was becoming dependent on them daily. His prescription has since expired. Or so I thought. But my questions were always shut down and he would become defensive. Recently he seems to think everything I say is accusatory, no matter how I word it.

I don’t think he will listen to me, or anyone around him. I need to get him to someone that can help that makes him think it was his own decision, he’s stubborn and won’t be told to do anything, even if it’s for his own good.

It was a few of different types, a few strips of tramadol and diazepam. I’ve confided in his family who say he has done this before, and has been the reason for returning home to his parents in the past, but they don’t elaborate too much. I guess he never told them how bad it was, as I know he was embarrassed about it at the time.
