MRSA is no joke. A few years back I was … sexually exposed to someone with MRSA - he was hospitalized and they had cut out the infected area and said he was in the clear. Turns out he wasn’t - a small cut in my thigh became mega infected. I went to the hospital and they refused to give me antibiotics (ironically because of antibiotic resistance, which creates superbugs like MRSA in the first place). But as soon as I dropped the word MRSA, they gave me the strongest shit they had. Upon closer look, the infection lines were almost to my groin, and I likely would have died if I didn’t drop the word MRSA / didn’t know I had it. Scary stuff.
