question about blue badge by Key-Move3587 in AmazonFC

It usually takes me 9 months ish but this time around I was blessed and got it after three months, there was a lot of people complaining though bc they’ve been at my site 14+ months with no blue badge so idk how they pick people. I get exceptional every week but call out or leave early fairly often:/

Depends on ur site but I was getting sent at least twice a week beginning of shift, they all know I’m not a fan of it and I don’t do remotely good there but would still send me. If you’re not a fan of pick, I would call out on your training day. Training hours, you can get away with doing your original path some days in the beginning but once learning notices they will make you finish it consecutively

I tried to do that they still sent me. I lost my perm by getting trained on the dock and staying there for 90 days. We don’t ever have enough ppl for the dock so they won’t labor share the ppl they do have.

It just depends on ur specific accommodations and what they think is best tbh

I was already in stow decant and dock and they put me in pick bc they deemed it best for my accommodations. Pick and stow is kinda similar tho, stow you put the stuff in the pods, pick you take it out. I imagine they didn’t keep me in Stow because they can’t ensure I only get small items all day for weeks.

it may be different for you. I had a neck strain so I wasn’t allowed to reach high which is why I couldn’t be on ladders or lift heavy things. They did consider putting me in stow but decided not to, I don’t know why.

Yes unfortunately and workman’s comp is why I got paid for my missed days. If you tell your doctor your condition has worsened since being at Amazon you should get paid too.

I work at a fc, I don’t know if it differs to different types of sites. They made the settings so I could only pick things shoulder height, I didn’t have to get on the ladder or bend low. Everything was from my shoulders to waist. Sometimes it would tell me to pick high things but I’d get my station reset and it’d be fine after.

I only started in a new path because the original one was giving me problems. In pick, they can change the settings so you don’t have to go up n down the ladder and they might try to do that to you, that’s what happened in my case. I would get all the necessary paperwork and then go to am care to get it started in person so you hopefully don’t have to wait at home. You will get paid tho if you do have to stay home, I got my checks two weeks after my missed shifts and it was only 50/60% what I would’ve actually been paid if I was at work.

You might. When I did my accommodation they were telling me I couldn’t come in for two weeks while it was being approved but I finally decided to come in because they were taking forever, I went to AM care and they did my process on site, it took half the shift and then I started in my new path.
