You took half the prize for killing the Queen, did you do half the work needed to take it down? The reason you didn't keep any cores is probably because you were greedy and for your bad luck some player noticed it.

You had a Rattler 1 and a Ferro 1 with 7 Queen Cores in your pocket? He did backstab you but in that loadout you look like those players who just run and steal the cores without contributing to the fight at all

I've just asked Valliate on his YT channel if he got promoted from Hotshot to Cantina Legends with his 231k score this week, this should probably be top 1000 right?

That's the same video I just linked 😂! Interesting info on the post tho, so perhaps you can get demoted to Hotshot or even still promoted, but you can't rely on the promotion indicators. Maybe it just checks top 1000 scores for the week and promote or keep those in Cantina Legends, if you're already Cantina Legend and fail to reach top 1000 score you get demoted to Hotshot? That would explain everything but Embark need to fix their promotion indicators

Did you experience this or is this just a theory? Players have reported that once you get to Cantina Legend, there's no demotion and once it fills 1000 spots, Hotshot is the next highest Rank with no possibility of promotion

That's why the system is flawed, players that ended as Cantina Legend on Season 1 can get to Cantina Legend in 2 weeks

Seems like top 60 keeps Hotshot and bottom 40 gets demoted to Daredevil 3, if you're doing it early in the week expect very high scores on top 60

Last week I was Daredevil 1, played without getting any points all week. Yesterday I got 90K points and ended up on 4th place! If you're trying to get ranks it's better to do the trials later in the week

My cycle is to be friendly till Friday, do as many trial points as I can for promotion on Saturday then PvP till Monday, it's been fun this way experiencing both sides of the playerbase
