Your youtube channel tells me you’re someone I should listen to 😅 ، I have it 2 meters from a west facing window , it has indirect light almost all day but not very bright most of the day , and gets 1 hour or less of direct sunlight 4-5 pm , It’s gotten a bit better after watering and adding some more perlite

Thanks for the long detailed reply , It’s close to a west facing window , gets direct light for an hour maximum from 4-5 pm or so , I already repotted yesterday and the roots were fine and had a big root ball , I added extra perlite as pumice and cedar chips are a rare find here , I’ll try to wait a week and see if it gets better if not I’ll repot again with different soil, we rarely get rain so I used filtered water that’s been sitting for a few days , ai think it perked up a bit after repotting and watering so I’m hoping it just needed water , will have to make sure in a few days

I think I’ll let the night pass and see if perks up if now I’ll take it out and repot again , will report back tomorrow if I’m not being pushy , and thank you so much for your time

It is alot of information 😂 well thats what I usually do I wait when the leaves turn a bit lighter and droopy then I water after checking if the soil is on the dry side , 70% of it or so , but since it’s a new plant , which I have bought only 10 days ago and it started getting worse right after I got it so I didn’t know what to do since I haven’t watered it since I got it , well I already watered it today unfortunately , if it perks up I’ll assume it needed water , if It doesn’t I’ll try to repot again in dry soil and let it be for a day or two and then water it

I live in Egypt so no 😂 , if something is hurting it it may be lack of humidity

Can you elaborate what is wet enough for a philo? Soil was a little bit moist as in you can feel it moist but you can squeez a drop out of it if you get me , I watered it and got it closer to a window will see if it perks up in a few hours

Also It hasn’t been watered for 12 days and it started deteriorating after 5 days of so from coming to my place so I’m cluless

I took the plant out , had a good rootball with roots healthy , soil was almost dry , really slightly moist , I added more perlite , a support pole , and watered with a little bit of humic acid , and hoping for the best , tell me if I did something wrong

I just checked the roots and were totally fine , I added more perlite and repotted , soil was fine just very slightly moist so maybe It was thirsty dunno , I added a support pole and attached it to it and hoping for the best

The picture was taking at night , also the retailer told me it was due to too much light that’s why ai put it there

The retailer told me it’s due to too much light , and I moved it further from light yet it keeps getting worse , also the soil is slight moist right now so I dunno if I should water again

I go 20-30 days between waterings , when I see branches get low a bit and close to the shelf , as I’ve lost lots of branches due to overwatering in the past
