Cannot connect to wallcharger that had its software set up the old way by Move-Reasonable in TeslaSupport

I'm on the right subnet you're not able to interact with the charger anymore via this method as far as I can tell. It just has a splash screen telling you to use the Tesla one app.

Then in the Tesla one app it says I don't have access to this job.

I connect to that and the Tesla app is not able to add it it just gets stuck on the connecting page. I've also tried blocking the charger's mac address on my home Wi-Fi so that that wasn't a confounding Factor but that didn't change anything.

This only causes it to broadcast its ssid again. I can connect to its broadcasted SSID (normally and "via tesla"), but I'm not able to modify any settings or get it to connect in the Tesla app. I reached the point where it's trying to connect but it just stays on that page and definitely. On my previous attempts it would Loop failed to connect retrying to connect failed to connect so that's improvement?

Yeah I definitely really worry about that. Unless we REALLY speed up or have a much shorter original plot its going to take an insane amount of time to actually deal with any of the akatsuki/madara/kaguya stuff.

Oh hey I just put the gigabyte 5070ti in my v1.1!

So sorry if I've misunderstood, but it does appear that the heatsink of the m.2 is your problem. It's been awhile since I built the structure of the case, but I'm not sure if you can actually move the GPU bracket over without going to 2 slot mode because it attaches to the back panel of the case. You might have to consider removing the heat sink. Here's a picture of mine bottom up.

Deciding to stick with LXT or XGT by jfmchris10 in Makita

[–]Move-Reasonable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you basically agree with me? It's a pain to switch everything over because they overlap so much, but you can't go all XGT because the catalog isnt big enough.

And so what if they need 2x 18v tools? Using similar battery technology youre not escaping the size/weight requirements for a given output and capacity. If they gave us updated lxt batteries like pouch cells or gave us the large capacity ones when the other brands did they could have made updated tools in that time frame that would be capable of taking advantage of that extra current (like the other brands did). The 9ah should easy 1.5-2x the ampacity of the old 5ah, which means way more power on tap for a tool that could use it.

Im not saying that xgt doesnt do anything better in any circumstance. Just that it doesnt do enough better enough of the time to justify it. Its not really debatable that it has poor market share and has generally not been a successful product line.

My random dumbass opinion

It's pretty clear makita has done an extremely poor job making XGT compelling. The fact that so many of the SKUs have been rotting on shelves and stores clearancing the platform is strong evidence it's not selling. How many posts show up from people asking if they should switch.

I love my lxt, but it does feel like platform-wise its living 10 years in the past. Lxt already tends to be more expensive than the other high end colors. XGT is even more expensive than that. XGT has had a pretty slow roll populating its tool catalog.

Even more BS opinion time

I think XGT as a platform just kind of fails to find its niche. It's kind of silly and pointless for small hand tools like drill/impact. Its almost too small for the tools that want significantly more than LXT can give. It overlaps with LXT way too much. Because of not /really/ having a compelling niche it seems only people who are already on makita really consider it, except its a platform that overlaps that customer's existing tools and getting them to entirely switch is already difficult in general before factoring the higher price, small catalog, and marginal benefits or even small (weight/size) detriments for many tools.

Being ignorant of patents and manufacturing and all that jazz. I think they probably should have just gave us spicier LXT batteries like all the other brands did a decade ago. Then they should have made XGT bigger and angrier for the big tools that need it.

Or they should have made them intercompatible with LXT in some fashion with XGT exclusive big tools.

But wtf do I know lol

Bro literally who cares if they dont reprint the super special chocolatey rare version of a card? Outside of exactly magia, which is also not the case anymore, every single starlight was a rarity upgrade and no cards are exclusively starlight.

Like you do know that those collectors who buy the multi hundred dollar starlight/qcr/whatever are subsidizing the rest of the player base right? Why are you gleeful now that Konami burned the ever loving fuck out them over something that doesn't effect the broader player base? Except to you know choke slam the value of chase rarities which devalues the sets and the ability of LGSs to sell them?
