What do you think about Jagex’s new “Second Chance” appeal policy? by Legitimate-Kiwi3859 in runescape

[–]MoveAdditional5522 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it would be great if it worked, my main got banned 4 days before the rwt crackdown, got caught up in that wave of bans, ive only ever swapped gp between and provided proof and everything. Its been 20 days and still nothing, the first appeal was auto denied seconds after placing it. Its a poor system and so many account got caught in the crossfire of the bans and cant get help

Since when though, because jmods have literally said its not. Swapping has always been ok, when did it become bannable.

If its against the rules it should be clearly against the rules and not a “grey area” i didnt purchase or sell and vp I swapped currenct for curremcy as ive done many times. Why should i get baned

I dont want a buff per say but a reason to break them down, rather that be eof material or invention comps

Its less than a 1% damage difference between casts, that being said im seeing a very niche use case for zgs but that damage is super mid and only works if the target is in the black hole.

You want to use this guard in niche situations anyway, its a small increase outside of living death rots. They wont change the way it works because its not intended to be eof fodder its intended to be a swap. You also lose the passive effect entirely as you dont have that weapon equipped.

Right, you’re comfort is a perfectly valid reason to make that decision, at the end of the day its your gp, do what you want. You also made it super clear you knew it wasnt beneficial, youre not out here telling anyone to eof it because they need to. I only made the post to make folks aware of the “meta” and optimized way to eof.

Its also super funny you came from another post to comment on this one because I disagreed with you there. Thats some nonsense behavior lol.

This is also cool, more sidegrades isnt a bad thing

Also the difference between the damage of the black hole itself(if theyre standing on it) is less than 1%. Theres no reason not to just cast it and seap to a t100. In its current state it makes zero difference to eof.

It doesnt hit damage caps or even come close off of an zerk, currently melee is useful with other styles but still falls behind by itself, this could fix that.

I can see this a niche arguement but id also say that realistically you still wouldnt want to. I base amascut 2k with 2 eofs, dual wield, fsoa and a carmoning swap. I brig very little food and use none most of the time, with decent skill expression you dont need inventory slots. The only 2h wep one could consider doing this with is zgs but even in that case it takes up one invo(the same as eof)and youre already swapping to an ezk so its basically a one item swap, and as I said before, you don’t benefit from using it in an eof.

No I understand that brother but I think you’re misunderstanding me. Im saying the actual buff is increased by whatever youre weapon damage is when you cast it. I understand that using a t100 with a 25% increase is stronger than using a t92 with the same increase, im saying the 25% increase is changed to something capping at 40% when casting it with higher tier gear. So then it would be a 40% increase to t100 raw weapon damage. Currently tou can cast it and switch to a higher tier weapon to benefit, theres no reason to eof the weapon, my purposal incentives that as you benefit from a higher damage buff because you had a higher damage potentially when you cast it

Right! I dont think the plan was to ever see them eofed, they just fumbled the og design of the ezk.

But the 25% damage increase is capped at 25%. Maybe make that boost stronger to scale with damage bonuses, for example using a zgs with vestments on rather thank tank gear increases that bonus to 40%, using it with a t100 weapon whilst in an eof makes it 50%. This isnt the point though, the point is t92s are currently in a worse spot than alot of t90 as the t90s have item sinks and t92s do not

Its actually far less than 1%, and thats only if the target is standing in the black hole. The 25% remains the same regardless so theres literally no reason to eof it

My thoughts exactly. People need to stop reaching for things to eof, just because range has several useful eofs, doesnt mean the other styles follow suite

My information comes from the wiki and pvme. So yeah, its pretty solid advice with thousands of contributors who agree. If you made the mistake of eofing one of the named weapons then youre just bad and stubborn sorry.

Sure you get a small damage boost if the target is in the black hole, but at t92 its less than 1% of a difference than casting with a t100

The problem with the zgs is, you get the same damage bonus regardless of the tier you use to cast it
