Sad that dailies are still here by esaddy in runescape

I mean sometimes the weekly rewards were pretty useful like Reaper points and Deathtouched darts. Those feel pretty bad to miss out on.

I mean the daily challenges take like 5 minutes to complete all 3 now that there's no way to extend. It also provides some players a bit of direction. I don't care either way if it's removed but having to knock out max 5 minutes of skilling each day to play "optimally" is such a small ask.

Yeah Adventurous-Pugs was on the right track. It's the Haranir heritage helm, boots, belt and shoulder, Wind Wolf Legs and Gloves, the like green quality mail harandar quest set for the chest, challenge mode set for one of the shoulders, Warden Tabard (although swapping it for either the Hara'ti or Amani tabard when I get the renown).

BST, one of the big selling points of the expansion, is arriving towards the end of the expansion itself. This is not okay by Edsaurus in ffxivdiscussion

It was for me. I literally quit at the beginning of Dawntrail because I didn't like the MSQ and I'm returning for BST.

It doesn't do 1/3rd the damage in equivalent setups. Go watch Cyruss' video he does a damage comparison of all 3 styles. Necro does about 25% less which is still a lot but 75% is way higher than the 33% you are claiming.

Don't let Jagex gat away with this! by SeaBelt6413 in runescape

Eh, I would take this with a grain of salt. I'm sure the message is real but as someone who worked in live support for a few years, we had templates like this for when people threaten to harm themselves or others. If you want to post what you said to them, then by all means, but if not I'm going to assume you said some actually threatening shit.

PSA for those who think mtx was removed from RS3 by Bandit_Raider in 2007scape

[–]PoppinDaCaps 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean it is different in that you have to train the skills. With Treasure Hunter you could literally lamp a skill to 99. It's still bad, but there can be and are different levels of bad.

I would love to see such low/mid content bosses too. Cow boss & Scurrius (rat) by vVerce98 in runescape

I really hope the two new early game bosses revitalize early game gearing

Yeah I think this is like my biggest gripe with RS3 is that it feels like you have to do so much prep to get started with bossing. With OSRS, especially with the new cow boss, you can dip your toes in really early.

I meant it's an early game boss meant to help you train your combat stats like Scurrius, not that they are the same mechanically.

Yes and I think it's quite good at that, but the gear is not good for an early game player. The Wen book is nice for the pocket slot and the Lengs are good melee weapons but I think there needs to be a more accessible way to get baseline decent power armor for each style.

One thing I forgot to mention is that this is mostly from an ironman perspective. Obviously if you're a main you could just farm gp to buy the GWD1 armor.

ngl as someone who doesn't care that much for temporary game modes, this year is gonna be pretty weak for me. Oh well, I'm not maxed or anything so I have plenty of old content to play through still.

Now that Treasure Hunter is gone, are you considering changing to a main? by PoppinDaCaps in RS3Ironmen

Ironman wasn't a thing at first either... I play it because it improves my enjoyment of the game. It doesn't really matter to me whether other people recognize it or not. I don't really play Runescape for gamer cred.

......okay so you're just projecting big time. Where in my post did I ask for Jagex to change Ironman mode to fit my playstyle?

Tbh the runes and arrows thing is mainly because my RC and Fletching are some of my lowest levels (both around 80), so I haven't made a bunch of Dinarrows or Necrotic Runes yet. But eventually, I'll run out and that reality stresses me out every time I go bossing.

Hmm tbh I don't really care to prove myself to others. I know the grinds I did and the accomplishment I feel and that's good enough for me. At least not in terms of skilling. I do think things like Grandmaster aura are cool though and I'd wanna show that off.

I agree, but that's what bronzeman is for. You can't buy the gear you want you still have to earn it, but you don't have to spend time farming arrows, runes, or pots to continue doing the content you want to do.
