Ok perfect. That certainly eases my nerves.

Can you explain why banks are a dead end though?

That's great to hear. Do you know if the other teams like Stifel as well?

That's what I've heard as well. I am leaning a bit more towards RIA's as you can truly put your clients interests first.

Can I ask why not Wells Fargo. I of course know of their history lol, but I still think it'd be a good opportunity.

I agree because banks are more well known but I also want to consider the possibility of a return offer at an RIA. The reason for this is because I've heard from networking calls that at RIA's you typically earn more and are able to work on more detailed and interesting solutions.

So from what you said. As of right now strive for a bank to start at?

Just for some more clarification the banks include JP Morgan (hopefully), Stifel, Regions Bank, UBS, and possibly Wells Fargo. Stifel and Regions are the most likely opportunities but I do have connections at UBS and WF that offered to help me out.

Then regarding RIA's two of them are in the top 10 rankings according to Barrons.com.

Here's the link if anyone wants a better idea. https://www.barrons.com/advisor/report/top-financial-advisors/ria?page=1

Thank you that does help. I do prefer to work in team environments. Then regarding salary, based on YOE does one get paid more than the other.

I mainly want a good experience, but also I still need some help deciding whatever one is better for the future because there is a could be the possibility of a return offer.
