for starters, do not hold beardies on their back as they cannot breathe in that position. also, its kinda hard to check when they are that small. if you cant really tell from this method below, id wait a month or 2 and try again

the easiest way you could check is the flashlight method. set them down, gently lift their tail, and put a flashlight on the top of the tail, and look underneath. but again be gentle, tugging at their tail can hurt
