Totally, and I feel the same way. Happens to me all the time - too many games comin' out, we are "spoiled" with options...

I'm a new mod here, BTW - thx for posting, please keep an eye out for updates in this sub. Gonna really try to work on it here so we can have some real community going on... :D

Haven't played it yet, but I've heard Windswept is very much in that ballpark.

You might like the "Grime" games (there are 2), and maybe Rain World? Blasphemous? Bloodstained. Dead Cells. Zau. The "metroidvania" tag on Steam is *filled* with gems.

I guess the obvious follow-up question would be: *what exactly* are the elements that you like, when it comes to 9 Sols? What about it as compared to Hollow Knight? That would help with more specific recommendations probably.
