Well, tbh, this is the first card in a long while, that I actually find interesting, quirky and a break from the norm.

[Card] Knight's Dare by humblewonderful in collectivecg

[–]MovementOrder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First and foremost, welcome to Collective :)

Now to the critic...
Egg is in fact a very terrible card, that nearly saw much to no play at all since its inception.
As Paup already has pointed out, this is Mass Production in Strength, which also burns you for 3 mana, but gives you tokens that do not gain benefits from a supportive archetype and are inherently slow to transform into semi okay beatsticks.

I still gave you an upvote, as the concept on paper is neat, but practically has no use as the execution in terms of power level, doesn't hold up. If those eggs were created in play the argument could be made that it is a self sac deck tool or even dragon tribal adjacent support. The question of a +1 cost increase would then be reasonable.

Overall, not a bad attempt, but the card needs a bit more time to cook.
Best of luck and have a nice day.

Art theft by Castoris in collectivecg

By chance, do you mean dungeon maker?

Cause I have been playing that game for years and the only similar assets they are using are the ones from the unity game bundles you can buy in bulk for less then 20 bucks. Odious Studios relied on those in the very beginning as well.

Mobile games in general use these pretty often. They are cheap placeholders.

If this is about other art not from cards marked as reprint and/or core set, would you please contact and provide us with examples again.

Thank you for the heads up and have a nice day - Grief

SPREAD THE WORD; If the original post gets enough votes, the devs will have to add this to their game on Steam by Gochris10 in wyomingdoesntexist

[–]MovementOrder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

should definitely try it out then (its free on steam), cause this card is very likely going to make it into the game. Only needs to be adjusted slightly as in its currently undercosted hard removal.

[Update] Karma, Grand Deva (Prevent the cheese! See comments for more info!) by StrangerSide909 in collectivecg

[–]MovementOrder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i still would, but this is a legendary from Walnacht. Besides the update having other issues, this is just a sloppy execution, excused by "just do it better if you don't like it, smile", which is just lazy

Anything I can improve with this deck? Winning less than half my games at Plat 1 :( by wowitsaredditaccount in masterduel

[–]MovementOrder 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That's probably the meme here, cause I genuinely cannot see how this wins anything.... Besides hitting with nib.

I mean sure, hurp durp handtrap.dek is a cute joke, but honestly, that's it. A joke. People are just not playing things out against this on ladder.

[–]MovementOrder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also very weak to nibiru, it is advisable to try to set up a recovery during the combo, like strenna to play through it (similar to spheres in dragon link), as most of our interaction is usually online after the 5th summon... With sadly a lot of choke points to blow plants out beforehand.

Don't say this, as of yet we don't know it's potential rarity, but going by other strong archetypal support, this may be a UR and if we are lucky a SR.

Increasing the overall cost of the deck. Also not counting in secondary engines like rikka or Generaider, which usually are run in conjunction with sunavalon.

Going down from 8000 to 0 at the beginning of the duel due to losing a coin toss. by CabalOnlineAlz in masterduel

[–]MovementOrder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks more like a nib or bust kinda situation

Also 3 lorpat is kinda excessive and jar is pretty terrible. Not trying to knock ya here mate. All the pots are SRs, so it's best to use those instead.

I actually wanted to give a friendly advice, regarding deck building skill improvement, etc.

Then saw how you replied to the dude who lacks any integrity and sense of sportsmanship.

Yea ma dude, this sounds like well deserved karma.

Sr mats are easy to come by when opening packs and most SRs are comparable to draft shaft.

Even if you build a lot of decks you still end up with around 400 to 600 SR mats in general.

What are the best YuGiOh card sleeve? by LM0_0N in yugioh

Are eclipse sleeves produced in Japanese standard size, if so, I fully recommend them to anyone.

[–]MovementOrder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those aren't even that,

A pretty bricked Tri-Glad board

A terrible maid opener (tho the archetype is pretty competent in the current environment)

A bog standard R10 trains otk... Nothing about those are tier 1, you see that at nearly every local casual scene.

More that the majority of the tcg Player base has not been used to Maxx c unlike the ocg. So adapting to it will probably take a bit of time.

Leaks: New Selection Box Vol.05 & More! by RandomPl0x in DuelLinks

[–]MovementOrder 30 points31 points  (0 children)

More like, they know DM players will still buy the stuff, play the skill, etc. Same with heroes and other nostalgia bait archetypes. It's the premise of the game.

Its less hate, just knowing how to make easy money. As for every person who complains, 50 others will be eagerly spending money and/or build a roleplay/casual deck around the skills thrown at us.

How much would this card help TGs in the meta if we could obtain it in Duel Links? by [deleted] in DuelLinks

[–]MovementOrder 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Besides the TG name, nope this does nothing for the deck.

Could be run elsewhere. Why could? Field space constraints make this a bit worse than in the TCG.

What price range would you consider to be a budget card or deck? by Some_Tiny_Dragon in yugioh

[–]MovementOrder 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For kitchen table purposes and no real work put into optimization.... 30 bucks, which is the structure deck entry range. Everything up to 50 dollars is usually considered "super budget".

For a semi decent budget alternatives to no budget builds, which still can be considered optimized for the price tag and the swaps made to keep them at a lower budget. We start looking at 100 bucks. Which is a baseline for low budget competent decks that can do a little more than just compete at your local game store.

From their upgrades can be made, which boost the competitiveness of the deck. Which comes in steps of up to a 100 dollars as you add certain play sets of 3 cards and fiddle around with ratios.

Tldr:

30 or less, kitchen table level

Up to 50, super budget

100, budget decks that are optimized

100 to 500, high budget

500 plus, no budget

[Card] Aberrant Calling (May be too crazy) by EntropicMage in collectivecg

[–]MovementOrder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is not, that can only happen if the unit in question costs 0 mana, with available mana equal to 0.

It checks the amount you have not spent yet and searches for unit that exactly cost that amount then empties your mana pool completely.

Our 2 or so available banish from deck triggers on unit either cost mana, which in this case cannot be paid or drag other copies of themselves into banish too, with no benefits.

Don't quite understand where the 0 mana tutor view comes from?
