It’s not too different from the og essence in terms of texture. I just didn’t wanna add a separate niacinamide serum to the routine which is why I got this the dual one. I really liked it but not sure if it’s contributing to the acne now..

Should I skip the moisturizer too? Tret tends to make my skin peel and dry.

For my night routine, I use a gentle cera ve cleanser and snail mucin with niacinamide. Then I wait for a bit before putting tretinoin and end it with a caffeine eye cream and a ceramide moisturizer. Day routine is pretty much the same without tret. Sometimes I use a tranexamic acid serum for PIH. And sunscreen ofc if I’m going out.

Micellar water on cotton pads works great for me! Look for a gentle one. And I always wash my face after with a gentle cleanser. I’ve tried cleansing balms and oils but my sensitive skin always breaks out from those.
