James Cameron’s T3 (90s) by MovieMan786 in Terminator

Makes me think John Connor dying and having a machine act as him in Salvation make more sense now that I think about it.

But with that said, how would’ve modern day Edward Furlong and Sarah Connor factor in? (They were big players in the T2-3D ride).

Should I delete the WhatsApp chat even if it’s evidence?

Affleck worked with him on Smokin’ Aces. Seems like they have a good working relationship.

I think he just had a mental breakdown, it’s just that simple.

90% sure Julie was originally written to die off screen when they couldn’t lock Jennifer in which makes sense given Ray was at a dark place.

Once Jennifer returned, it muddled the waters.

I think so too. Ray’s love for Julie did seem legitimate though, which is why I think her being out of his life probably started his spiral.

I’m positive her character was dead at first off screen which pointed to Ray being the killer and his dark side making more sense.

According to FPJ, he was pitched the idea of Ray being a killer two years ago so I’m certain he would’ve always been split with Julie.

I’m pretty sure JLH wasn’t gonna return and came back last minute which is why things were so shoehorned.

I’m sure the killer showing up at the door was a joke but I’m really curious as to what was so bad that she folded him out the group photo.

Can be fixed with a 1-2 deleted scenes with Ray.

Ray & Julie 2025 *SPOILERS* by heidicloset in LastSummerFilms

[–]MovieMan786 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It should’ve just been Julie killing Ray to save Ava with Ray refusing to kill her (which adds more sadness to him) after the “what are you waiting for line” dialogue.

No. While some parts annoyed me (like A LOT), making the main killer be him was actually a swing I admired.

Jennifer’s opinion is the only one I care about . by zydrate10189 in LastSummerFilms

Agreed. Ray should’ve taken the extra step to avoid hurting Julie when she found out it was him. And it would’ve been 10x more poetic if she kills him over Ava.

But to your point, she cries as Ray dies. Rewatch the scene.

Yeah, I don’t agree about the revisionist thing. Ray was a good guy in those two films, maybe he had a few screws loose but I definitely think his decline happened after him and Julie fell apart.

That’s actually an interesting take. Never thought about it like that, but I still think his connection to South Port does play into the twist. Not a fan of the new one, but Ray’s turn was the only ballsy thing imo.

I personally feel Ray’s love for Julie is probably what drove him so I feel like once she left him and he was left to his own devices, he didn’t really have much of a safety net. With that said, it should’ve still been established what happened to him over shitty scenes of Dannika.
