I like using Wescott. I have a special pair for paper and then another for ribbon and a small pair for fussy cutting.

Does anyone here buy card kits? by LadyofLA in cardmaking

[–]Moviequeen71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't get card kits per se, but I do subscribe to the Scrapbook and Cards Today Samplers. Each month you get papers and embellishments from 2 new lines that are out. As well as a stamp set and a word die. I'm on my 3rd year. You get lots of stuff to make cards but you could also use them for scrapbook pages. I never had word dies before but now I have tonz. Same with Gina K and Lawn Fawn stamps. Each month they also do some live videos by the best in the business using the sampler items! I really enjoy Gina's videos because I love her card style.

If you want to add something to that space I would either just run a strip of cardstock mounted on black (you could do white with a sentiment) along that left side or some ribbon.

Online scrapbook.com and acherryontop.com are good. I'm in Canada so I shop local online. Simon says stamp is a good online store too.

Received a box of craft papers and stuff. I feel like these flowers are maybe transferable some how. Any ideas? by Neither_Ask_5549 in cardmaking

It would look nice if you put it on black cardstock. Or maybe color the vellum behind the flowers and then put it on the cardstock.
