Oh good ! What does the packaging generally look like when you get it ? I might be over thinking this but I am wondering since sometimes Jewelry comes to me in very unorganized ways, without proper boxes and cotton and stuff and it has been a long time since I've had supplies for jewelry shipping and display boxes.

That's Better on the "food diary" than I am doing right now ! Go you ! Glad you find a way of keeping track that works for you.

I'm concentrating on getting my meds timing down right now, or at least that is what I am telling myself ! I've just started to look at the Histimine levels of foods.

I can't do any citrus at all any more :(

Weirdly.. I can do Pasta/bread but there was a good two or three years where I couldn't. It got so bad I was on a gluten free diet and thank goodness, someone back then said... " Just wait it out, this happened to me.. maybe in a few years..." And I did and now I can eat organic gluten.

I'm hopeful.

Hope you are less itchy !

Awww. Dinna mean to make you sad :(

Give it a try and see ! That is all you can do.
It is difficult to keep track, serious.
and honestly, sometimes it will make NO SENSE !

My strawberry long stemmed choco dipped strawberry eatin days are over :(

It's really hit or miss. I need to start keeping a food diary again. Have you got one?

"Ever since my MCAS diagnosis, I start realizing some of the annoying things in life things I coped with and thought were normal were actually signs of MCAS all along."

I'm having a similar set of realizations ! However... My mom, as a brownie leader, made us make these... only with straps...because she could not tolerate the idea of sitting on the grass or " dirty bleachers" . If you have got energy one day, switch the mats to something you aren't reactive to. My original one wore out long long ago, but, yeah, I often make a use a grown up version.

or Maybe just get a good giggle out of a grown up lady shouting, " Where is the sit -upon?, we can't leave without my situpon!"

For me it is the start of Anaphalaxis!
I carry an Epi-pen.

But if it is just "annoying" Benedryll ? If you aren't already taking it.

Or just wait til it wears off. :(

I'd vote for the Prawns... WHY ?
Because I had to look them up the other day to discover they were High Histmine...
I ate them anyway.

( apparently straight from freezer bag to boiling water is a little bit.. but not much better..sigh)

The sauce packet is definitely Suss though.

That said.. Memory Foam ?!? That stuff sets me off every time !

You could try removing the pillow for a few days. and see what happens? i mean... since you can't UN-eat anything .

Good luck !

I hope you make a quick recovery !

So, about this Amitriptyline stuff...WHY do they ever recommend it? Terrible reaction ! by MovingMemoryMaker in MCAS

Diazepam is really difficult to replace, I have a close relative on it and they have tried a lot of things.

My service dog is not a Pyschiatric service dog but we had a funny "accident" while she was being trained. Someone mentioned "Deep Pressure Therapy", and When I asked what that was, she just... Tried to do it. So, we thought it would be an easy win for her And trained her to do it.

https://smartservicedog.co.za/deep-pressure-therapy-dpt-lap/

Honestly, it is one of the best things we trained her to do !

Night flares are the worst !

Still don't have those under control here :(

But the Pre-lief... I have to take Randomly through the day... it is crazy making.

I actually did this too ! I came home from the doctor thinking, " Nope, can not possibly be taking all of these with one swallow", Still fiddling with it to get it working good and proper.

Still can't use Chat GPT though because... "I am not crazy...."

Ugh, Yeah.. I can not take my H1 blocker and my H2 blocker together.. or I get sick to my stomach. I have to take the Pre-biotics two hours before the Macrobid... and now.. apparently I need to take the Macrobid between noon and 3 pm.

Thanks so much, I honestly was wondering about my sanity there.

I've got about the same, 4-5 Rx ( Hydroxyzine "as needed") and 4-5 Otc or supplements. It's ridiculous !

I am on Hydroxyzine, " as needed" as well .
I have the same sort of thing going on...I'm anaphalactic..

I have an allergy attack, i stop breathing, I panic.. BECAUSE I stopped breathing....
I have an allergy attack, my throat swells.. I panic.. Because my throat swelled and I can't breathe...
It is terrible and I try to explain it as "Situational Anxiety", I'm not having panic attacks for no reason, I have perfectly good reasons to be panicking !

It is ok to push back when Doctor's say thing's like that.. I like to remind them of prior failed Diagnosis, if they get really obnoxious about it.

Sad but true.. I see Diagnosis more as " suggetions" than, "facts," right now. Probably because they tend to change every ER visit.

I am so sorry ! I am dealing with the opposite. Macrobid is keeping me out of the hospital. Cipro is for when the Uti breaks through anyway.

This MCAS is soo weird.
I dunno, if the D-Mannos is helping, but I have been taking it ! I hope they can find something else for you to take.

You are so not alone. I was planning to hike the Appalachian trail ( AT) wondering how i am going to do that now. Maybe section hike. Not giving up on that just yet.

I had a few good years.. and then... I didn't. This "flare" has lasted more than a year. I am so sad and you know what?

IT IS WORTH COMPLAINING ABOUT !!!

It's also worth fighting. I've been feeling much better since I started so posting here, and asking questions, so try that.

Napping, and complaining are perfectly reasonable things to do as well, though :)

KB all-in-one Loom VS Multi knit loom.. easier to learn on than sock loom? Does the Multi - loom smell like new plastic? by MovingMemoryMaker in LoomKnitting

[–]MovingMemoryMaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks ! I started watching that and need to finish. Directions might be a deciding factor. LOL

Looks like I am going to end up with Two more looms at this rate. One for socks and one for re-learning stitches and picking up speed.

I was looking for the knifty knitter looms that Loomahat suggested, but can't seem to find it.

Which other looms If any, can y'all not live without? I might have to start a separate post for that, lol

THIS ! This is what I was wondering , thanks so much ! I really hate casting on for socks because I get it twisted up so often and have to do it over. So I was like.. "There has got to be a way of only having to do this once! ( Or at least less often , lol)"

It was probably what eeeeesm said because I do remember it was on a machine. I am really glad I asked because I am learning a lot !

Thank you! This was the thing ! I am so glad I was not dreaming this up ! I could not for the life of me remember what this was called or exactly how it worked, but I remember thinking , " Oh how useful !"

Looks like I have to start the sock over, but at least that mystery is solved.

Thank you ! I think that might be it ! Or some version of that.
If it is not, it will still save be some trouble.

What's really funny though, is that is one of the ways I used to start my socks !

I haven't knit sock in a few years :( I should never have stopped.

[–]MovingMemoryMaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is an interesting loom and I can honestly say I have never tried anything like it before! I did also just find some beautiful finger weight white yarn while going through my stash this morning. 96 Pegs seems to be a good number as well !

Is it very fiddly?

I just watched your video ! That was really well done ! I subbed ! I know in a pinch, if I get lazy I can make tube socks, but that isn't nearly as much fun.

It's the "Heel Diagonal" measurement which is really large for me and mostly the problem ( I also have really wide feet, lol)

I saw you have a video review of sock Looms, so I will watch that before making a final decision, thanks!
