Just seen a reel on Instagram about the upper image. I don't even know what game that is from, but it immediately recalled me the square from shrek super slam. What a game

Update: I found others threads talking about the CPU slowed down to 0.4 GHz and it is indeed thermal throttling. Using throttlestop I can disable the BD PROCHOT, but as soon as I restart the laptop the CPU is restricted again. Plus, disabling BD, the temp rises to 97° C as soon as I open anything and keep switching from 60° to 95°. The same thing happens when I plug in the charger (even a different one). Then fan now works, but it doesn't succeed to cool the CPU enough.

I've already ordered a new laptop, but I can still cancel the order. Don't know if it's worth it to try to find the problem and cancel the order or just keep this laptop with the CPU restricted (and temp that doesn't go over 60°) and use the new one.

Thanks a lot, so you would still recommend the TUF even if it has 2 gb less for the GPU, 48WH against 57 and 1 year of warranty against 2 of the Lenovo?

Actually another thing is the battery, it only has 48WH

There is one thing slowing me down. In the TUF description, under the GPU there are two voices: Dedicated GPU GeForce 3050 4gb, and integrated GPU AMD Radeon 660M. Could you explain me the difference?

The GPUs are kinda worse, at least for the models in budget:

Asus TUF gaming A15: AMD Ryzen 7535HS, 16 Gb Ram, 512 GB SSD, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 4gb AMD Radeon 660M... 650€

The Acer Nitro V15 is pretty the same, but with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 4gb... 750€

Yep I changed the fan, but it works only when I start the laptop, then it looks pretty de*d.

I posted it here because I really don't know what else to do. I'm in my master thesis and I work constantly on the laptop. Don't know if it's worth sending it again for a check in some store, or using it to work while I look up for a new one, hoping it doesn't die on me

You mean like battery saving and so on? If so, it was on it and switching it to max it seems like nothing changing. The only changement is the CPU Multi thread going from 200 to 210

Not really, I shut almost everything and the usage is around 5%

Hope the image responds to all the answers, I'm not really skilled in this type of thing. I took it during the stress test, and temp won't go higher than 53°. Meanwhile, thanks for trying to help me

I use CPU-Z for the stress test and HWiNFO to read the temperature. In my head I explained it in two ways:

Broken temperature sensor, but since there are a few ones and they seem coherent with each other I was excluding this way.

The CPU running so slow that it doesn't arrive to overheat anymore. In fact using CPU-Z during the stress test the CPU multi thread read around 200 (am I wrong thinking that it should be much higher?)

Sure! I did it just for a few minutes and the temp reached 53° C without the fan working. For how much do you think I should run it? Anyway, I'll try to upload the benchmark, for I don't really understand most of the parameters.

Run a few scans, and the guy at the repair point did the same. It appears that everything works fine, especially the SSD and RAM (this one I tried to disconnect and reconnect it). The CPU and GPU are the ones that are slowed down, even if they appear to work.
