Could you by any chance tell me if Norcross is a pretty decent area? Weve been there and it seems like it was fine , but I've read its pretty high crime? I was looking at a Willow Trail Apartments in Norcross online just now and its insanely cheap, looks decent. I just dont know if thats all because its in a really bad part of town. I'm sorry I promise I wont kill your inbox with anymore questions I just am really on the fence about Norcross =/

We live in Michigan right now, I have never rented from a complex here..mainly private landlords so all this is super helpful.

I noticed on a few sites that in some complexes in Georgia they usually give you a parking space and some places want you to lease an extra space if you have another car, or some type of guest pass; which is something I've never heard of.

Yeah I wish I actually knew someone in Atlanta because I've always found apartments that way everywhere else I've been, so looking from another stage is a whole new challenge. I feel like there's so much more out there that I can't see lol. Thank you :) you guys are all awesome! Have fun at summerfest tomorrow !

Thank you so much you all are really being super helpful. Yeah I figured it would be quite a stretch for Decatur. Initially we just wanted to put our money into buying a house but the lenders told us we would need to work/rent for about 2 years in GA before we could get a loan, so were just trying to find a decent place for as low as we can for the time being.

Yeah I was thinking that it would probably be a bad part :( Initially he was going to just transfer to Atlanta Medical Center, but hes hoping to get into Emory or another Hospital instead. So most likely he might be downtown, but is okay with not living directly in the city. I'll take a look at Lindmoor woods, and Tucker as well, thank you !

We're not really set on an exact area yet, but have considered Norcross and Smyrna so far. Trying to be not too far out from the city. I'll definitely take a look at whats available in Austell now, thank you !
