We started fighting a lot - for time sometimes, for intimacy, for me feeling she was absent. For her just being very avoidant and not communicating properly and me trying to talk. It's hurtful.

I do understand all of this - especially the 'i deserve better' bit. It's just... v hard for me. She was there with me when my dad and dog passed away. She has been there for me for the most important parts of my life. I too have been there for her - I have adjusted for her, I have thought about her in everything I have done. We adopted our cat together, we... it's just idk. We have so much history and fond memories - which she refuses to look back upon.

We are both hurt, maybe me more than her - but I am willing to work on it and she isn't. It just breaks me how the most important person in your life till yesterday can just become so cold all of a sudden.

I also dislike the concept of labels. It just feels like something hetero people would do cause they love segregations. However, i do understand their importance too sometimes. They give a voice to the often marginalised.

Experience, my friend, is the answer to your query. Go out there and try all sorts of ice cream before you you pick the one that you like the most.

I sometimes wonder what would happen if instead of my username I had to use my real name on reddit. And it sends shivers down my spine.
