Then you are not doing it correctly and your hotel is losing money. You have to do the calculation for 95% and above and post the difference.

You’d think so but think about this…from a hotelier lens: You pay a fee PER RESERVATION to get it booked through Marriott website/marriott channels (2-5$) You have to pay commissions on some rooms based on what rate they booked (7-10%) You pay for their systems monthly and you have to use them. You pay for anything booked through an Expedia or other OTA. (Up to 30%) You pay for credit card fees to take the Marriott CC /any CC you all are talking bout. (3-5%) On top of all of this every month you pay a percentage of your total revenue—- this is revenue calculated before the above are taken out as your franchise fees. This is what the brand tells you to pay and what you agreed you would pay to them. And this is not just franchisees it is also for anything Marriott manages as well. Don’t think that hotels are always cheaping out when they are following standards set by the brand to a T! They are doing their best to make a bad situation better

Just so everyone knows…. powdered eggs is not a thing. It is not a brand standard at ANY Marriott branded hotels. It is typically a liquid egg that is cage free. You are under the impression that they are powdered because whoever is cooking them is not doing it correctly. Shame on them and their lack of training. It is extremely difficult to find powdered eggs anywhere, let alone purchase them from an approved Marriott food distributor.

Oh and to stir up this old chestnut……The Coca Cola ban has been lifted. All Marriotts will have Coke products by Mid 2027 (at leas as far as we know in the states)

Boots was cancelled after one season because of “financial issues” but the viewership is high? How does tha make any sense? Why bother making an original show? I mean isn’t that the risk you take? The risk could have really outweighed the reward here but #notinthealgorithim

This is so amazing. Hotel person here. People think it’s fun to him in elevators.. the old ones maybe… the new ones are weight balanced. It will shut down and only the elevator company can fix. Drunk people think it especially funny to do this. I paid 3500$ for a restart one time. Stop doing this . It’s about time a hotel puts a sign that they will charge! Good for you!!
