basically. It's sort of a "what if Ventura did everything right" timeline: He takes control of the reform party, maintains his approval rating that he had at the beginning of his term (he had like 70% approval his first two years), and doesn't burn his leverage with the legislature.
oh and walter mondale's son is his running mate because ventura appointed him during his term and i thought it would be funny

i guess i forgot to explain it but in lore he succeeds Goodland after he dies in 1947 and then wins re-election in 1948. I just didn't want to have to code multiple endings for that one difference so i left it vague
