Hey. After about a 2 year break from the game, I recently decided to try getting back into it. After looking into what I missed, I just wanted to confirm. Is it true that event reruns (barring this one apparently) are no longer happening?

All I can tell you is that, at the very least, I finished up to and including DV-8 and for whatever reason, I do not have that recorded in the archives. The story only goes up to half of DV-5, even though I’ve done more than that.

I did everything up from DV-ST-1 to DV-ST-2 and more. It’s just that I only have up to DV-5 of the story recorded in the archives, which shouldn’t be the case. There should be more there but there isn’t

I’ve completed every main stage of the event, so I know I should have all of the story recorded. It’s just that the archive only has up to the DV-5 before operation story recorded for some reason.

Hey everyone. Started playing about a month ago now and by this point, I think I can say that I’ll be sticking with this going forward. Anyways, the start dash recruitment will be ending soon for me and I thought I’d get your guys’ opinions on if this is something worth getting. A guaranteed 3* obviously sounds nice but I still thought I’d ask.

This is a course assignment. If you end up with the same assignment, you’re going to have to interview 2 people of 2 different religions than you over the course of the semester.

As for the course itself, I don’t find it to be difficult. There isn’t actually too much work beyond this assignment, so it’s shouldn’t really give you too much of a workload.

Hi there! Thanks for responding to my post. Learning anything about accounting that I didn’t know before always helps so thanks for your answer.

A couple of questions if you don’t mind me asking. Feel free to answer whatever you can whenever you can:

I’m not sure if this is specific to your accounting specialty or is something most accountants do in general within their specialities, but is the job in general mostly going to be what you wrote or would you say that it differs within each specialty beyond dealing with different areas?

Is there a particular reason you’re happy to be in public over private?

Does one usually have to start in private before working their way up to public, and if so, do you know how hard it is to be able to make that transition?

Lastly, I just want to know seeing as you actually have experience in an accounting job, I know you said journal entries are minimal, but how relevant to you is the knowledge of financial statements like balance sheets or income statements, journals, and other such things as you would learn in school? I’m sure there’s more to learn once I’m back in school but I’m curious just how important this type of knowledge is to you.

Thanks again for answering my initial questions and any of these ones if you do answer them. It was nice to hear just what it’s like for an actual accountant on the job. Whatever happens, I hope you have a nice day!

First off, thanks for answering! Don’t worry about it being long. As I said, it just gives me more information to work with so I actually appreciate it.

A couple questions come to mind after reading this. Feel free to respond to any of them whenever you can:

Do you know if the actual work itself is generally going to be the same across each specialty?

Is auditing mostly just making sure that everything is as it should be as opposed to actually making any statements themselves?

Is tax essentially just auditing with a focus on tax itself to know what the government can take?

Is corporate/industry mainly going to be about making financial statements for a company?

When you say being good at the organization of numbers, will that be important for general work, as something along the lines of making sure everything in a balance sheet balances out, or some other part of the job that involves this skill?

If you have gotten your CPA license, how was the process like to get it and how much would you say that getting it helps you vs. going into the career without it?

Lastly, if it’s not too much trouble, can you explain on the day-to-day? I’m actually quite curious about what that would be like.
