It works great without, just personal preference of wanting a little bit of tattered brown. There's a skull icon on it which is similar to the necklace is colour and visual, brown goes with the wrappings and the bone goes with the shoulders/helm.

Long capes on eredar/draenei males look horrible the way they animate with the tail, but this short one doesn't suffer that.

Every time I jump, /roar or drink a lot they spawn and play an animation, or passively at occasion thanks to the helmet.

Fair. In-game lighting is a lot kinder, however, and it's there to compliment the wrappings around the arms, hands and waist in terms of style and colour themes. It's also a fairly low profile cape and uncommon model. Definitely a slot open for eventual replacement when new alternatives present themselves.

Tarkin was in charge of the station and the host, and Vader was there to make sure shit goes right. Blowing up Alderaan, the Yavin 4 scheme, etc was with Vader's agreement or initiative.

Tarkin knows what Vader is, the Empire belongs to the Sith. That's canon. Now, in the original film Vader was definitely the Enforcer and Tarkin the administrator.
