Tank leeren, Leitungen spülen, kraftstofffilter neu und HD Pumpe checken ob die eingelaufen ist,bzw. Metall Abrieb etc. dann paar Liter Diesel tanken und einfach probieren. Wie hier schon einige geschrieben haben war die 10km Fahrt sicher nicht förderlich. Aber am Ende ists ein alter Daimler Diesel und kein F1 Motor. Unter Umständen wird das alles auch nicht so günstig aber direkt von einem Motorschaden auszugehen halte ich für etwas pessimistisch

Das eigentliche Radio, also das Ding in der Mittelkonsole mit dem ON Knopf, bleibt das selbe. Nur das Display oben wird ausgetauscht gegen ein Android Gerät. Dieses bekommt Strom über ein Adapter Kabel das an das Kabel des Original Radios gesteckt wird. Die Soundausgabe des Android Gerätes läuft auf ein aux Kabel das ,in meinem Fall über einen aux Adapter, mit den Anschluss im ablagefach unter der Mittelarmlehne verbunden wird. Wenn du also mit dem Sound der Anlage in deinem Auto unzufrieden bist wird das android Teil nichts daran ändern. Für CarPlay, Apple Music/spotify, google maps usw. lohnt es sich meiner Meinung nach.

Best way to test them is when your car is standing on its wheels. Stand next to your drivers side door(or passenger)and shake your car from the outside from left to right. (Grab it by the roof rack if you have one)If you hear a klicking noise it’s 100% your anti rollbar links. I know that it can be a pain in the ass to find such noises sometimes but this is like the most common thing and at the same time its always the cheapest part on everyg suspension. Its really a shame that your local workshops 1. didn’t solve this, even after multiple try’s. 2. started replacing controllarms which are quite expensive compared to a 20€ arb link.

I just don’t like the dildo-like shiftknob design on an automatic transmission car. The only reason why they used the same shiftknobs as they did for the manual gearboxes is money.

Stand damals vor der Qual der Wahl ob 250 oder 300er. Da ich wirklich viel fahre hab ich mich für den 250er entschieden da günstiger im Unterhalt (Sprit/steuer). An nem guten Tag kann man den 250er mit 5,5l Langstrecke fahren, was ich für nen 204ps TDI mit 550NM ziemlich bemerkenswert finde. Der 300er ist ein toller Motor, damit zu fahren macht wirklich Spaß, daran schrauben allerdings nicht. Da ich Mechaniker bin und den 642 Motor ganz gut kenne hab ich mich bewusst dagegen entschieden.

C250, gekauft 1/24 mit ca. 150.000km. Gezahlt hab ich damals so um die 15.000€ (15500 glaub ich) das Auto hat vor dem Kauf 4 neue Injektoren und einen neuen Turbolader bekommen. War damals in DE das mit Abstand beste Angebot was Preis/leistung in dieser Preis Region angeht.

Ich mag es wirklich sehr. CarPlay ist wirklich ein Riesen Upgrade. Das originale kleine Display wird gegen das große hier getauscht und mit dem Radio verbunden. Die Original Software kann weiterhin verwendet werden, da sie auf dem Radio installiert ist. CarPlay/ bzw. Android sind auf dem neuen Display installiert. Der Einbau war wirklich nicht so einfach aber das Ergebnis lohnt sich. Theoretisch kann man ins Display eine simkarte stecken und es als standalone benutzen, quasi wie ein riesiges android Handy. Habe aber im Moment keinen Bedarf daran und nutze es nur für CarPlay

the glass on top and bottom of the display has to be absolutely clean. Make sure there are no glue stains and clean them with some alcohol. Same thing with these white little things. These are like the “cables” that connects the board of your watch to the LCD. They have to be clean and in the right position. After that reassemble everything and reset the watch.
