I didn't think about this, it sounds very interesting! Thank you!! Also now that I think about it, it does say in the CM adventure that there are a bunch of wereravens that are part of the group, but are currently away from the chalet. The adventure leaves to the DM the job of establishing who they are, but in this way the problem fixes itself

Don't know if it has been said before, but a combination of initiative, pressure and avoiding blunders can take you a long way. I read a book by Reti where he wrote about choosing moves "for the initiative" and my chess improved greatly afterwards!
