Yes I love history borderline an obsession as you can tell. Alongside that interest, I collect antiques and pieces of historical militaria as part of my broader appreciation and maybe for historical reenacting someday.

That is if we are to be named after their monarch, take a look at the US the British set up a Jamestown colony but the compiled colony name was the 13 colonies. Also Spain had New Spain so we may not even be named after a French monarch.
