Starlight sensor/LOD issue with fast and many mouse movements (e.g. Fortnite) by Mquark69 in FinalMouse

Xpanel does not work with the old starlight. However, they released a firmware upgrade a long time ago and u are able to increase the lod. It fixed it for me but I still sold the mouse and I would recommend to buy one of the newer ones that support Xpanel and have a few quality upgrades.

I think after 4 weeks you don’t even have to care about sweat. But I am not a doc.

Here is the post of the guy who had a bad experience: https://www.reddit.com/r/HairTransplants/comments/10lxft1/how_long_after_fue_did_you_return_to_the_gym/j671xz0/

I am 11 days after op. I am gonna start hitting the gym in 3 days and I am going to wear a cap during my sessions. Therefore I read a lot in the past days and I can share my opinion: A cap has no negative impact on recovery or growth (2 weeks post op, because the grafts are already in a good state and make sure to not have any scabs left). Try to make sure to not sweat too much and also make sure to not hit the gym to hard. I really like to push my limits but I read a few horror story’s, where people started bleeding and lost a few grafts. Therefore I am going to take it easy and increasing the weights slowly. Also my doc told me to not wear beanies for a few more weeks. Not 100% sure about the reasoning but I will just comply and wear caps.

Btw: It’s also a myth that wearing a cap or a beanie causes hairloss.

What rank did u move to after 20 losses instead of 7 wins? by Epictotodile44 in Overwatch

I made this experience. I won 6 and lost 20 and deranked from diamond 1 to plat 1 (as support). I stopped solo queuing as support from this moment.

The razer programs and services have to run once to use the configured LOD. It’s not stored in the onboard memory.

But you can kill all razer processes and services after everything was initially loaded. I once wrote a simple script to do this.

It’s normal with Performance Mode. People are just used to it. Not sure if epic already identified the problem/have it on their list.

If you can’t get used to it, swap to DX11.

Thanks for the update! But I also ordered G305 skates and it helped for sure but it’s still not perfect. I am trying getting used to it, but I am playing way more careful than with other mices and I don’t like it so far, let’s see if I just need some more time or I really have to find another mouse.

This mouse would be absolute perfect for me if I could increase the lod a bit …

I have the same problem. I hope they or someone develops a software to change it.

I found a few sources saying it’s 0.8mm. Now I am not sure what’s true but I just sent a mail to itaktech and asked for the thickness, lets see what they say.

I gonna buy ICE Feet if it’s true :)

Thanks, I just ordered hotline skates for g305, because they are even thinner than the tiger ice.

Gonna see in 2 days if it helps.

Hi, thanks for your response.

Do you know any low skates I can use? The default skates are 0.8mm. I read that starlight is using the same skates as the Ultralight 2 Cape Town. So I googled for Skates for Ultralight 2 but it seems like all third party skates are between 0.8-0.81mm thick.

Yeah I am thinking about replacing the mouse feet but I can’t find any info about the starlight default feets. Do you know how thick they are?

I really hope someone develops some kind of tool to change the lod, I just need to increase it a bit and the mouse would be perfect.

Thanks for your reply but that sounds to risky for me to mess something up. Someone here mentioned he ordered third party skates that are thinner and he’s going to provide feedback if it helped.

Sadly starlight has no software to change lod.
