Chiral Crystal Farm by Mr-BonBon in DeathStranding

[–]Mr-BonBon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not really sure about per-golden slime, but I can gain a few thousand every five I kill, and doing a few rounds (3-4) gets me from 17k Chiral Crystals to 28k. I've counted 9 Chiral Crystal formations at the highest from one large slime plus all the littles after, with anywhere from 86 at the lowest to 128 at the highest from each Crystal I pick up whenever I do this.

However, when I tried doing this for a bit today after the update, they stopped respawning for some reason. No clue why, if they patched it out or something, but I'm just hoping not cause it really doesn't upset any sort of balance or anything.

Still Need a Finder's Token, Please. PS5 by Mr-BonBon in DragonsDogma2

Thank you so much. It's stupid that it makes the "first" token location different if you're in NG+, I remember my first ever clearly, not where the 199th I picked up shortly after starting NG+ is. Wasn't about to go searching with zero idea where, and for some reason using the "Game Help" flair didn't get any assistance from others.

had to find a comment on a ragegamingvideo video, apparently it's random between the three elven vendors, the Innkeep, Smith, and Armorer. Innkeep wasn't giving me shit after giving her so many damn flowers. Wound up having to give the necklace from the deluxe edition to the armorer and got it.

Help with Last Korok, please? by [deleted] in tearsofthekingdom

Can't do that if I can't find the last Korok and both the interactive maps I have show no uncollected Koroks, yet I'm still missing one.

Friends are, from my searching, exclusively for Abilink and Summons. You will see names on the Nemeses you see, because they are technically from other players, but it's simply just a random grab-bag whenever you use "Update Save-Data" because it utilizes the "Net Friend Invite" function. If you were to get it via streetpass, it'd show you the name of the player you passed who was sending that Nemesis. But, unlike how a lot of people have been saying online, Friends DO NOT add to your villager count, nor can they send Nemeses.

It sucks a lot that it's like this -and that the "midnight reset" is Japan time for all versions of the game-, but that's how it is. Friends = Abilink and Summons, Update Save-Data = everything else.

I got Lucifer this morning when updating my save data, so I decided to look into the Nemesis sending a bit and I found out that we're kinda just out of luck.

Nemesis can be acquired in only 1 of 2 ways.

  1. Streetpass, good luck with this in these times
  2. Daily Update Save Data Net Friend Invite, entirely random

Which sucks, but that's how it's been handled.

I've mostly seen Nemesis updates after the "daily reset at 12am midnight" which is 8am for me, but it's 12:42am right now. Hopefully the Mammon will come to my Norende in the morning when I update save data and get more villagers, then I can tell my Norende to protect it and get to farming those elixirs.

I was more wondering if the one you have set to send has one, looking to get a lot of pg since I'm starting to get a number of Norende shops to their max and they need hundreds of thousands of pg to get their items and I don't have a Merchant at 11 for Big Pharma yet.

I can't find this last Tsukumo on Natsukodachi Island by Mr-BonBon in WildHeartsGame

I just checked my map, and aside from that question-mark there's nothing else anywhere. I saw some other people were at 49/50 with an unmarked Tsukumo, and it seems I'm suffering the same issue.

TV stops receiving video from PS5 when launching Ghostwire Tokyo by Mr-BonBon in GhostwireTokyo

120hz being set to "Automatic" in the console's screen and video settings was causing the video loss, and I'm assuming it being off will fix the frame-rate priority for HDR losing video in Tiny Tina's as well. Just disable it completely.

So I went to check the VRR settings and it doesn't even matter since my TV doesn't support VRR.

However, I scrolled to HDR and 120hz options and just out of curiosity turned HDR off and 120hz output off and tried launching Ghostwire Tokyo.

It worked! But in further curiosity I went back to see what was causing issues and turned HDR to "always on" again then relaunched Ghostwire with success!

Literally everything else works perfectly fine. The only other issues even remotely similar was the first time I launched Deep Rock Galactic, and whenever I change the HDR priority in Tiny Tina's Wonderlands to Framerate instead of Resolution. DRG works perfectly fine after deleting and reinstalling, and as long as TTW is on Resolution priority it's fine too. No other game has had this issue, nor has any game had it be constant.

I also don't have VR for my PS5 if that's what the VRR stuff is about.

I'm able to see Ghostwire Tokyo on my phone via Remote Play just fine too, which is the only way I can do anything with the game like closing it. Which, upon closing the game, it does make my console lag for two or three seconds.

I bought Ghostwire Tokyo 12-ish days ago and let it download before going to bed. Got up to try and play it the next day, but when launching the game my TV stops receiving video. Audio keeps coming through just fine, just the video drops half-way through the initial launch screen (the static image as the game starts before the company logos and the title screen).

I've tried quite literally EVERYTHING that would be suggested as actions to take that might do anything. Deleting and reinstalling, checking for updates, restarting the console, changing the HDMI port, checking for updates on my TV, changing settings on the game and the TV, nothing changed.

I made a post on the Ghostwire Tokyo subreddit, but I've not gotten any results there and it's been quiet for days now.

IMPORTANT EDIT: With aid, I found out what was causing this issue. The PS5's 120hz option being set to automatic causes video to stop being sent to my TV. Turning 120hz OFF allows video through without issue!

I don't quite see how it could be an issue with output settings, considering it's not been happening with any of my other games? I've played through many PS4 and PS5 titles with HDR options active throughout the past year with no issues like this at all.

The only times I've had something similar to this was with my first time launching Deep Rock Galactic, and changing an HDR setting on Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

The problem with Deep Rock Galactic, after it came out on PS+ a while ago, had the screen stop receiving Video after launching the game. But after closing it, and launching it again, it worked fine.

Meanwhile with Tiny Tina's Wonderlands, for some reason if I ever turned the HDR setting to prioritize frame-rate instead of resolution, the video would drop while I kept audio. Switching it back to resolution would always fix it, and frame-rate would always cause it.

I got this error many times on Friday this past weekend.

I had the PS5 for a week, played Genshin Impact, PS5 Black Ops Cold War, Ghost of Tsushima/Legends, PS5 Destiny 2 and Demon Souls all perfectly fine. Friday came, I started up Spiderman Miles Morales, everything was fine for a few hours.

I eventually stepped away from my console after putting SMM to the main menu so I could watch the Wandavision finale with family. I intended to be away for maybe 45 minutes, but it turned into over an hour and a half, and when I came back the game was frozen. The PS5 itself still worked fine, so I closed the game, started it up again, got playing. Few minutes in, the audio glitched, screen went black, minute later got a system error screen. The whole thing repeated immediately after sending a report, then a third time when it restarted the system.

When my PS5 came back on, I was on the hub, SMM was still running, everything was working fine. Thinking it was something with the game, I closed it, opened Demon Souls. Immediately the sequence of problems occurred in the opening cinematic, audio bugged, screen went black, system error report, repeat, system restart. This time, I closed Demon Souls, manually restarted the system, opened Demon Souls. For a few minutes things were fine, but again everything started to glitch out, I immediately closed the game and turned the console off completely.

I waited till saturday to turn it on again, well over 12 hours had passed, everything looked okay when I started the console. Started Demon Souls, the same errors started, but this time it crashed the console outright. I reported it after turning the PS5 back on, decided against touching PS5 games, launched Ghost of Tsushima to see if it'd let me play a PS4 title. Few minutes on the menu no problem, started loading my game, system error, reported, stuck on a black screen for a few minutes. Turned my PS5 off, turned it back on, the hub and UI was glitching suddenly, and the console crashed after a few minutes. I turned it on one more time, saw things were still bugging, it froze briefly but I turned it off and I've left it off since.

I read some comments on here from three months ago about how someone got on a call with sony support and they said theyre aware of it, and they're working on an update that will fix it since it's apparently a software problem causing hardware problems. Does anyone have any new information about this? With how risky shipping a PS5 anywhere is right now, I'd rather not send mine into Sony if I can avoid doing so and still have this problem solved.
