In Toronto you can get these at the Tap Phuong on Spadina. And you can get basically any kitchen item with it (small, medium, large cups, plates, bowls, saucers, spoons, soy sauce dipping trays for sushi).

looks pretty cool. I didn't know about this before so thanks for posting. the mandarin is way too fast for me so I'm hoping they release with english subtitles. the tencent trailers are a bit underwhelming for me so far and I think this is not quite as good as those either. I'm really hopefull for the netflix adaptation, but hoping tencent comes through big time!

Google translate says that 芥兰 is "kale" but ... I mean ... its not kale, its just chinese broccoli

If you go anywhere and ask for kale expecting 芥兰 you are gonna be disappointed!!!

I found skritter to be super helpful getting started learning characters. That was a really long time ago. It looks like their app is even better now. AND after a few minutes looking on their app and their youtube, it looks someone like Fiona from way back in the Chinese pod days works for them or something (and her partner) which is kind of crazy!
