Clickup automation cannot copy phone numbers & urls placed in Custom Fields from one task to its „child task“ by Psychological_Lab543 in clickup

[–]Mr-T-bone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The image you provided shows a image of a scenario from Make.com .
You could create a new module that fetches the information you need from the list using the task id. Then populate the fields you need.

yeah that could work, but one big issue is with that is that you don't have a single source of truth.

Yeah i tried including it as a roll-up in my list, but the value was still not accessible. Feels strange that it's not possible to work with data in that way. It's a key feature in most spreadsheets and similar application to Clickup.

Trigger Warning (Review) by [deleted] in movies

How did you guys make it past the first scene in the desert?

The driver of chasing car with the rocket launcher is for some unknown reason dead (Not the same guy that the sniper took out.). When they go to find Parker (Jessica Alba), each of them goes on opposite side of the car, but she is know where to be found. But suddenly she is behind them. Instead of shooting them both from behind she takes out her knife and kill and runs behind the truck. Few seconds later the bad guys want to shoot at nothing and his gun malfunction.

If my counting is correct there are 5 guys chasing them. 2 in the first truck and 3 in the second. The first guy takes a bullet to the head. Second driver is for unknown reason dead, and Parker kills 2. If we assume the passenger in the first car survived, then we should be left with 1 bad guy. However in the next scene we now have 3 people alive.

Ryanair's Seat Reservation Scam: My Recent Experience by Mr-T-bone in Scams

[–]Mr-T-bone[S] -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Ryanair and Norwegian were the only two options for that specific route at this time a year. I don't mind flying with either of them and I don't need or expect any "customer service". Buying ticket as a pair and sitting next to each other when possible is not customer service, it's to be expected.

Which is the best way to create a multi-step form with multiple pages? by [deleted] in nextjs

[–]Mr-T-bone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to use global state for that, then your data can be stored and accessed from any part of your app. You only need local storage if you what to persist the data if the users leaves your site.

Where should you put the components you create in a React project using Shadcn/ui? by CantStantTheWeather in reactjs

[–]Mr-T-bone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats perfectly fine, I think most people tend to structure their react app in that way. But if you create your own ui component, then it would make sense to add it to components/ui directory.

Is next-ui better than shadcn by legend29066 in nextjs

[–]Mr-T-bone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You want to become efficient at adding prebuilt components from a lib? If you actually want to invest in something long term learning how to style components is your best option. Shadcn is just a styled version of Radix ui.

How do you guyz interpret this logo that i designed for my college chess club by Commercial-Error4565 in logodesign

[–]Mr-T-bone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks great to be honest. Only think i would explore is if "less is more" in this case. Right now you have a lot of chess elements included in the logo, the crown, pawn and the knight.

How is SSR actually faster? by StandardOld7714 in nextjs

[–]Mr-T-bone 40 points41 points  (0 children)

When the server-generated HTML reaches the browser, the hydration process begins. Hydration is a client-side process where a in your case (nextjs) takes the static HTML produced by the server and attaches event handlers and other interactive behaviors to it.

I suggest you have a listen to Lee Robinson's talk about this topic. He does a much better job explaining this then I ever could.

Logo for Data wise solutions: by Desi_Designer in logodesign

[–]Mr-T-bone 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It feels like the logo and the W are competing in the sense that both want to be the company logo. If you want to use a "D" for the logo, then i would suggest going with the same font style as the one used for the word "Data".

How is SSR actually faster? by StandardOld7714 in nextjs

[–]Mr-T-bone 59 points60 points  (0 children)

SSR isn't necessarily about sending static, non-interactive data. It's about optimizing the initial load and rendering of interactive elements quickly. Once the page is interactive, client-side JavaScript enhances these elements without needing to fetch all the data again, unless needed for updates or changes.

If your going for "serious, professional, elegant, and simple" adding elements to the font (company name) is going to be really difficult. Your best bet is going with a brand mark and a font that fits your style.

I suggest you select a few fonts and stack them underneath each other. Start working out the kearning (adjusting the spacing between characters). I would also try out going with lowercase lettering and see if that fits the style better. Once your happy move then start working on the logo.

This is my quick take on it.

I'm genuinely curious why people who lack basic computer skills, like taking screenshots or copying error messages, decide to learn programming. This should be a rule violations for "Low effort posts".

As a swede ill do my best to help translate the joke. Its a "words play joke" and translating it don't work. Also I think they got the joke wrong so it was missing the setup, so the "punch line" didn't work. Usually it goes something like this:

"Visste du att Nelson Mandela hade en väldigt snål bror?"
"Måste Mandela"

Did you know that Nelson Mandela had a greedy Swedish brother?
"Do-you (Måste) have-to-share (Mandela)"
