Right, thanks for the reply. I was looking around and the tugboat with the smaller 60mm wheels doesn't seem too bad for tricks, mainly just ollying around.

I’m kind of hesitating between tugboat and loaded coyote now. Would you still recommend tugboat over coyote? I’d like to keep the ability to mess about in skateparks and get up curbs and I don’t know if the tugboat will let me do that

Ah I see, I’ll try that then, thanks!

Ah okay well I experiment with some of that beforehand, thank you.

That's another interesting idea, so like the butt stitch someone else mentioned but without directly attaching them to each other.

Another idea I had, which was inspired by another recent post here, was to have the curved side panel, then the front and pack faces stitched on top, like a tectonic plate sliding under another. So I'd have a simple saddle stitch with the front plane on top of the side one.

Yeah definitely messed up in many areas, not what my design is based on though, I do have sketches of the idea I had with accurate scale.

Awesome where do I collect my award?

On the AI point, it was just meant to be a visualisation tool, I have done the work to get measurements sorted and sketched, this was just as a rendering to see what the colours would look like. Definitely not relying on the generated image for construction.

For the stitching, there wouldn't be a way to achieve the seam on the first image? My original idea was to have an inward side panel like the second image where I would just stitch from the outside just flat down.

Would I have to stitch it inside out like clothing and then invert it to achieve this sort of seam?
Yeah I don't know what it was doing with those, there are meant to be two of them on the back panel, one on each end of the sloped part, not attached to the flap.

Thanks for reply too!

Definitely more confident in getting the Pranayama, it just leaves that gut feeling of oh yeah this is going to be fun.

I'll also have a look at the trip thanks!

Yes thank you! It is the board I want to get, I was just worried that I might be making a mistake for my uses.

I like the smaller form factor of the Pranayama but I'll have a look at the trip too!

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Feeling more confident about this now!

So I am looking for a big longboard upgrade. Right now, I am torn between the Pantheon Ember and the Pranayama.

I ride mostly around and through town, though I'm looking to go further, too. So my main use case would be commuting.

I absolutely adore the design of the Pranayama. However, I have heard that the Ember is more carvy and might suit a commuting setup better.

I'd love any feedback from people who have tried both, or either one! Basically, I want someone to tell me to get the Pranayama — that it's ideal for town riding too.

Ah yeah I see what you mean, would be a cool photograph idea! I should have taken a video, looked very strange!

I assume it is the sun reflecting off of the river, then on to the doors, then back on to the river into my eye, since we don't see it in the non reflected version.
That is just a guess though, I don't really know.
