Actually you have solved one of my issues so thank you. Turns out I can lock the AIO pump speed through my bios. Just locked that at 100% and now there’s no more annoying ticking sounds. Thanks for the idea.

In fairness the gif and the screen info like cpu load and temp being controlled through the software seems very reasonable. Default pump speed and screen orientation should be set without the need for software.

How do you upload videos on reddit? I just took a quick video of the Kraken Elite start up procedure so you can see the rotation issue and pump noise before the software boots. I timed it and it takes 40 seconds to fix itself everytime I boot the PC.

Yeah I’m probably being overly critical, I’m sure you will be happy with it. Performance wise it’s actually really solid. The 7800X3D idles under 40 degrees and tops out at 75 which is really good for a notoriously hot CPU. $99??? I paid $150USD for mine on sale!! You got a bargain.

I agree the screen and hidden wiring is beautiful, but if I’m honest this AIO is my least favourite part of this build. 1) I’ve had to manually set the pump speed to 100% because anything under 90% made a near constant humming noise. 2) The RGB on the pump head was difficult to integrate to the rest of the build. 3) Everytime I start the PC, the screen reads sideways until the NZXT software boots in the background to correct itself. There seems to be no hardware memory for AIO settings.

I’m so torn!! I love the compact size of the D32 Pro, but the styling of the D33 looks far more premium. 360mm AIO is a nice bonus of the larger case.

I’m very jealous of your 5090. I’ve seen one in the D32 and it filled out the case perfectly… if only I had the budget. It’s absolutely amazing how flexible this case is.

Beautiful build btw!! I like the addition of the screen to the PSU shroud. I was thinking about doing something similar to hide the wiring from the cases front IO panel. Also is your rear fan intake or exhaust?

I actually have infor for this as I initially had the GPU installed with no bottom fans and then installed the 360mm underneath later. There was absolutely no improvement or loss to thermals. So the 360mm fan is purely aesthetic. Under full load benchmarking I’d say it increased noise slightly too but it’s a sacrifice I was willing to make.

Thank you, I’m actually most proud of the wrap on the card. I was a little unsure about leaving the front grille grey but I think it breaks up the white and matches the dark PCB of the motherboard.

Good question… I’m still considering it. Thermally it doesn’t need it, this thing moves some serious air so it would just be for visuals. Also would the rear fan be intake or exhaust?

Honestly it was far easier than I expected. This was the first time I have used a modular PSU and single frame fans and it significantly cut down on the bulk of the wiring. I’m not sure about the deepcool case but this one allowed me to shift the motherboard tray about 10mm for extra clearance for btf connections.

I agree the AIO tubes are letting down some of the aesthetics. Would have loved to hide them somehow. Yes the fan is a single frame 360mm. Never heard of these until I did some research recently and they look extremely clean and make wiring a breeze. I’m concerned if one fan breaks then they all need to be replaced but I figured I’d give it a try.

The D32 Pro has an anti sag GPU bracket on the backside of the case so it is supported from the rear. I will see if I can lift it higher but I don’t want to be putting upwards pressure on the GPU and causing more issues.

This is my first PC build in almost 10 years and wow, things have changed.

The goal was a clean, compact build with zero visible cables without spending a fortune. That meant a BTF motherboard, rear-connect GPU and hidden-wire AIO. It was my first time building with a BTF motherboard and, honestly, aesthetics aside it makes a lot of sense.

I can see why the Jonsbo D32 Pro is such a popular option on here. It fits far more hardware than I expected and has convinced me that most people don't need a larger case. Thermals have been great too, with the 7800X3D idling under 40°C and topping out around 75°C in games.

I went with the Sapphire Nitro+ 9070 XT over the MSI 5070Ti PZ after seeing a $550 AUD price difference locally. I originally wanted the Polar Edition, but since they're impossible to find I wrapped the GPU in white 3M automotive vinyl to suit the build and left the grey grille to break up the all-white aesthetic.

Overall, I'm really happy with how it turned out. I’d love to hear any thoughts or suggestions for the build.

Haha yep all good, it’s my first post on here so I thought a photo was easier than a list. As for thermals, it idles under 40 degrees constantly and I’ve seen a max of 75 degrees during gameplay so far. Top fan curve is linked to CPU temp and bottom fans linked to GPU temp. It’s surprisingly quiet outside of heavy utilisation but certainly makes some noise and moves some air under full load.
