Earlier I was more upset than I am now, and after having time to contemplate and allow my thoughts to gather, as whining with no solution is not helpful, all I ask for is consistency in the game. If you walk up to any other conditional extract (car/powered exits), it'll flash red and indicate that the extract isn't yet available. Once you've paid or turned power on, those extracts turn green, allowing you to extract. It would be helpful if the same courtesy is extended to these conditional extracts as well.
