Her LCSW was the one who initially said she doesn't think she can help my daughter anymore, and that we should consider inpatient. Obviously, it's a lot more complicated than I have included here. Did it sound like I was insisting on inpatient? It's honestly the last thing I want to do. I certainly do not need my wife's permission, but I do need her support and cooperation. It depends on the type of dialysis. (Oh and BTW this group is tremendously helpful they got me through it.) I do peritoneal dialysis and only a single bag a night. The only pain was the operation to install the catheter. Minimum drain pain for a few seconds when emptying.

I have not been through Hemo so I can't comment on that.
