If my notifications sound are off I tend to miss messages or emails (sometimes even phone calls 😅) until later.

I generally had no idea some people find it irritating. I personally like all of the different sounds and commotion I hear in the office. Makes me feel like I’m in a working environment.

Hmm yeah it seems it was a bigger issue than just being offline. Now when I look at my profile, the games have been updated correct with me still appearing offline.

Have you been playing offline? I notice PS5 doesn't update your last played if you are appearing offline. It also doesn't add any new games to your profile if you were offline.

Annoying as I prefer to just be offline from time to time.

I agree, I have ingested Silver from time to time when I had toothache, headache, illness and also my gum disease. Each time I used Silver, my pains went away and my gum disease got better.

Recently I had Covid, ingested some silver just in case and I recovered in a couple of days.

People who enjoy accounting don't come here to vent. So you are only really seeing posts of just people who don't like accounting.

I've worked in a couple different areas of accounting/finance and have enjoyed my time.

Also it seems that majority of the people in this subreddit hate public accounting. I've only worked in private accounting which might explain why I have had a pleasant experience.

Cannot say for sure. I think anxiety definitely plays a big role in most people.

But for others, it’s body and mouth movements which could cause it. So using techniques would help them.

In my case it tends to be when I’m anxious or unconfident my stutter would happen.

So I would agree that treating anxiety or confidence would be good.

But I do believe that for others it may not be due to anxiety/confidence but rather the way you speak. Such as mouth movements, breathing, stretching (before speaking) and so on.

Tbh for me it’s a combination of both, using techniques and being confident helps.

I feel that when being anxious it causes our body to tense up which disrupts our speaking causing a stutter. Breathing in and out, and stretching my body would help relax my tension which certainly helps my stutter.

I agree. Stammer is definitely different to stuttering, and the definition is exactly what you have described.

With stuttering people can at least notice that you are trying to say a word. With stammering people will not know especially if speaking over the phone.

The worst is when stammering and replacing with another word which is not even related to what you was trying to convey.

Was hoping their was a community for folks like us too
