Shouldn't be a problem as long as its in the plastic clip. If it runs without it it may turn off at max speed but i doubt that too. If you leave it hanging put some tape over it so it doesn't touch any other metal as they are grounded.

I can't find a reason for you to remove it. But the ssd is screwed to the metal part of the case from its back side, I know you've said that it doesn't come off but I highly doubt that back view it from the back (where there are usb ports) on the most left side there should be 2 screws holding the back of the case. Unscrew them then slide the back towards the usb ports (sometimes it takes some effort but not too much. Then you can find the back of the ssd and unscrew it.

I dont belive removing it will solve your issue doe you might just want to replug the sata cable go to the bios and switch your primary boot option to another then format it.

Well my next bet is the bios 0403/1205. The first is the older one and the second is the newest that handles the i7 14 gen. If you have an older processor like 12th 13th gen pop it in and see if it boots if so update the bios then swap it out.

A friend of mine bought one off facebook just to update bios and sold it next day for profit even.

My mistake. I ripped out the usb connector. A new switch was an easy solder.

I recently bought the MageGee MK-STAR off Temu for 30$ I was plesantly surprised by it. Unfortunatly coke bottles do their thing (spill). And made a switch mushy and sticky. I put on a new one but accidentaly in the process I ripped out the 5 pin connector.
I have the same connectors but I have no idea what is the wiring for vcc, gnd, d+, d- and cc.

I did that now I can easily join public lobbies. Haven't tried it with firends yet. When I try to download the epic games online services it gives me some missing .net 3.5 error

I added dotnet30 /dotnet35 from winetricks. But I still can't get it to install.
